My honest opinion about Furia

This team is good, but they lack fundamentals and a clutch player.

They are exactly like Furia in CS:GO, they have two players that have the tallent and can't be subbed for other players. And this players are Dgzin and Mwzera, it's insane but they are literally the same as Kscerato and Yuurih, you must have them to win your games, it's a MUST.

Mazin was a great IGL today, but he's behind others in the same position as him, like Boaster, Saadhak, Klaus, Nzr, and others.

QCK is really, really good, but he's behind Dgzin and Mwzera in skill, and If i had the chance to sub him for Less i would do It without exitation.

Khalil for me is the weaklink, he's good and always was one of the best controllers in Brazil, but for me here is the weakness of this team, If they had the chance to try konan in his place, or If they could get PaNcada in this role, this Furia team would be up for some titles.

yeah furia can be really good
i acc think qck looked the worst today tho (and i think he is a worse player than khalil), just too many chokes in critical rounds

I get what you mean but it felt more like an off game for him rather than being a worse player

I think they did great. FNC is at least a TOP5 team in the world rn and they put a amazing fight

im curious to hear opinions - how close do you guys think the match would have been in a non-Brazilian venue? I've looked at matches this tournament as heavily skewed in favor of Brazilian teams just because the emotion of thousands of people going AGAINST you and FOR your opponent is an incredible barrier to climb
EDIT: but FURIA looked surprisingly solid. their haven composition actually was extremely well thought out, had multiple looks on both sides, and was quite impressive. ascent, I think Brazilian teams are just gods at, so seeing fnatic win was a bit of a surprise, but mostly because they just played really well.

The crowd isn't gonna "heavily skew" any game imo. Stellar said in his interview he could barely hear the crowd and the crowd doesn't help you click heads. The brazil teams are just good, that is why they are mostly doing well in this tournament

i think everyone underestimates the impact of having literally thousands of people rooting for you whenever you get a single kill, regardless of if you can hear them or not (which you DEFINITELY can if they're all screaming and cheering for you). stellar couldn't hear much because the arena has significantly fewer spectators for 100Ts games since they haven't played a Brazilian crowd, just look at the camera shots

LOUD and FURIA looked decent, true, but I suppose I'll have to wait and see how playoffs are and how LOUD look to judge, because I wasn't extremely impressed with them. they are great at building momentum up it seems, but a lot of rounds that they won in both LOUD v NRG and fnatic v FURIA came down to wacky ass clutch situations. like I said, I'm open to my mind being changed, but I think people may overrate those two teams specifically
