i was one of the few korean fans who didnt believe in T1 (for now) and it paid off.

autumn? he was a good coach but who the fuck is this Stunner guy lmao all i know is he got kicked for cheating or some shit in a different game.

Plus this org never fucking cared about Korea and even now they signed Carpe over actual proven KR players like Wenty. They've never even been to Korea as a team since they made franchising - fucking hell lmao.

Damwon should have gotten this slot. I guarantee they would have done better against Furia. Shit, even SDC/Rio, fucking MARU would have done better against Furia - they prob wouldn't have won but we'd at least see more potential.

T1 had some crispy aim in the Ludwig tourney but I didn't see too much of that today too.

they just need to get rid of ban and get an igl and they will be fine chill

Ban is an interesting topic because I remember reading that some KR ppl thought Ban wasn't a good pickup and I was completely stumped. He seemed insane on Knights. I think he's just playing a role that doesn't suit him but that's what you get when 3 of your 5 players are fucking duelist mains. I swear people see DRX do that shit and think they can do it too.

I have yet to see many examples of teams managing to transition duelist players to other roles as effectively as DRX did

completely agree, the only reason why DRX even pulled it off is they probably have a top 1-3 coaching staff in the world

People steal strats from DRX all the time, Nbs said that they saw teams copying DRX's pearl strats a day after their game vs BBL and joked about how they didn't need to be in Brazil

now some teams are even trying to take DRX's player management (like GE and T1)

Nah ban wasn't impressive on duellist either on his pk days

Ngl didn't want him on the team from the get go

Carpe was the only one who did look good and damwon should have gotten the slot and Apac as region should start english comms and mixed teams u cant stay one dimensional

its sad because they have good players, ive always enjoyed watching saya because i think hes a really unique player. xeta was always a great initiator for c9. but the management and roles just seem so fucking off.

looking at other pacific teams i really do think we did not try to get the best (dfm and rrq, both looked clueless) its just sad, i want more teams than drx competing for the top.

It's worse when you take into account the structure and organization their LoL division has. Full faith in scouting and talent improvement.

yeah. Some of these rosters in VCL look 100% better than franchise teams.

SDC looked soo promising, Dplus look good, Bleed and MiTH, Crazy Raccoon, I've heard good things about Fancy, like any of these teams deserve a spot over RRQ/DFM/T1

That's what burns the most, they could be fielding players from Rio/Dplus heck as you said even MARU. It's as if they forgot they were a Korean organization.

fucking frauds. At least GenG made a respectable Korean roster, picking up the TNL core, etc. They get a pass for that.

T1? the premier fucking posterboy of Korean orgs that left Korea the moment they thought they could do something in NA? The same org that stayed in NA tier 2 for like 2 fucking years without achieving anything and then came crawling back to Korea? Letting the region fucking fester and rot even though it was clear it had potential, just not enough orgs and interest? Acting like they care about the KR region? Then they don't even go to Korea they just bootcamp in NA?

T1 is like that one ex who always comes fucking crawling back dude.

Disgraceful. I know a lot of Korean Valorant fans despise T1 because of this. I don't want to count them as a Korean org tbh

I feel you bro. All they achieved in NA was "help sewers".

so fucking cringe. Not to mention the whole Sayaplayer Spyder fucking fiasco.

God it pisses me off. I know for sure if Dplus or Rio or SDC played against Furia today the results would be the same or maybe even a 2-1 but I would at least feel hopeful about their potential like how I felt hopeful for GenG

possible, but either way both MiBR and T1 both look like dogshit - same as RRQ and DFM and TL

Hm not a fair comparison. mibr x Talon was a good match, not so one sided as Furia x T1 and DFM x Giants

#36

mibr had no fucking clue what they were doing. Even the most basic shit - Sliggy straight up said it looked like they had no protocols for B site Haven. And I agree. their individual players arent all bad but they are, as a team.

playing like that is disgraceful even for tier 2 teams.

im not sure if munchkin is a good enough igl for this level atleast not at the moment.
wouldve been interesting to see how this wouldve worked with steel leading (english comms ofc).

what korean igls do you think could make the jump to franchising?

Ye,Steel is definitely a great igl, dropping him is a big loss, I thought he would stay in t1 to form na kr mixed team, but t1 just dropped him to All Korean

I heard estrella was dplus igl...plus hes so good on sentinel (even tho he's on breach now) which would slot in for ban

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined

But im still supporting T1, cuz atleast it's not about the org, its about the rosters. Its easy for org to fix the rosters if they have passion
