South Americans come

I want to take a moment to talk about the importance of unity in esports, particularly in the Valorant scene. As you may already know, South and North America are now part of one franchise league, which means we are all in this together. It's no longer a fight between countries, but rather a battle for the best league possible.

It's unfortunate to see that there is a lot of negativity and hate directed towards North America from some members of the South American community. This type of behavior does not benefit anyone. We need to move past these prejudices and focus on what really matters - supporting our teams and players in our league.

By working together and supporting each other, we can show the world that South and North America are a force to be reckoned with in the Valorant scene, and that we are united in our love for the game.

So I urge you, my fellow South Americans, to put aside any animosity towards North America and instead embrace our new combined league. Let's work together to create an environment that is supportive, encouraging, and respectful. Let's show the world what we are capable of, and make Valorant a game that unites us all.

Thank you.

did u notice it's 5 teams from south america and 5 from NA?
it's because they'll fight for the 3 spots to masters, so it doesn't make any sense "unity", there'll be more competitiveness between SA and NA

hate directed towards North America from some members of the South American

funny when it was one of your players calling us "shit region" "small region" "minor region" and it was you guys talking shit about SA the whole 2021 until Loud shut you up

I understand that some individuals may exhibit unsportsmanlike behavior, but it's important to remember that such behavior is not representative of the entire community. Let's focus on the skills and abilities of each team, and enjoy the competition with a friendly, open-minded attitude. Whether a team is from NA, South America, or any other region, they all have the potential to put on an exciting show and make the competition memorable. Let's celebrate their achievements and support them in their efforts to be the best they can be!

NA when it wins "we're the best, fuck the rest of the world"
NA when SA wins "another title for the americas"
that's why SA > NA I'll even root for keznit to see NA losing

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the matter! While there may be some competitiveness between South America and North America, I believe that the competition ultimately brings us all together in a spirit of friendly rivalry and mutual respect. It's important to remember that negative comments from individual players do not represent the entire continent and that we should all strive to promote positivity and good sportsmanship. I do believe toxic banter is good for viewership as long as you don't cross the line. I'm excited to see how all the teams perform in the competition and wish them all the best of luck!

I apologize if my previous responses gave the impression that only South America directs hate towards North America. The truth is that there are negative attitudes and comments that can come from any region or individual, and we should all strive to promote unity and mutual respect.

dont worry bro, hateful comments and actions come from all regions, what changes is how we act in face of it, threads like this are very important to encourage unity. I hope that in the future the union can be healthy and good for all.

Lamento saber que você teve experiências negativas com alguns membros da comunidade norte-americana. É importante lembrar que nem todos compartilham as mesmas atitudes negativas e que há muitos indivíduos na comunidade que acreditam na união e no respeito mútuo.

For english users:

I think you need to change this to people on vlr lol. Generally, all my friends that watch VCT don't root against regions, but against specific teams they don't like (usually sen or fnatic lol). I am a NA fan, but have watched NA, LATAM, Brazil, and EMEA leagues since the inception of the VCT. I just root for good games and parity, unless it was the team I specifically root for.

It's always disappointing to see negative attitudes and comments in any community, including esports. I am sorry for all the toxicity and let's move on while ignoring those toxic users. Unless you want to engage in toxicity, I personally love the friendly banter rather than flaming orgs and players on the team.

This post was never about NA claiming Loud trophies, but about promoting a spirit of unity and respect between different regions. As I mentioned, South America and North America are part of the same league, and it's important that we support each other and work together to represent our region in the best possible way. I want to put aside any internal conflicts and focus on fighting against other leagues to show that our region is capable of greatness. It's also worth noting that while Loud winning may provide another spot for America if any team from Europe wins, it will also be a spot for Europe.

#42

I am not trying to play the victim here. I understand that there may be some negative perceptions or stereotypes about the North American community, but it's important to remember that not everyone fits into those generalizations. I cannot speak for every individual in the community, but I believe that we can all work together to promote positivity and good sportsmanship. Instead of focusing on negative perceptions or generalizations, let's focus on the positive actions and attitudes that can make this community a welcoming and supportive place for everyone. By promoting mutual respect and understanding, we can create an environment where all players and fans can feel appreciated and valued.

Bro, I'm sorry but this will never happen EVER, it's something structural and rooted in several North Americans it's more than just wanting to change, however much it's not all the vast majority is inconvenient,Of course this would be wonderful if it happened but it is something unfortunately extremely unlikely ,just scroll a few more everything I wanted to say to NA Moxens already said

Dude, the most toxic, arrogant, uneducated, and overall unlikeable people that I have ever read on this forum were all carrying USA flags. They always shit on Latin America and Brazil, spamming "bronzil" in several threads and streams, spreading hate towards every other region while acting like they were the center of the world and framing the rest as "minor regions".

The rivalry between Brazil and Latin America is something completely different. We have a common Latino identity that unites us. Even when things went shady in the past with Keznit/Dgzin, there were still Latin American fans supporting Brazilian teams and vice versa. Shit, I even started to enjoy Trembo's posts at some point. However, this kind of reconciliation may never happen between South America and USA.

Americans LOVE to throw rocks, then play the victim card, and then come up with posts like this, saying shit like "let's forget the past and move on." Dude, I would be ashamed of myself if I were in your position. South America literally has zero reasons to support NA, and if we take history into consideration, the situation can be so much worse. I mean, the USA has intervened (in some way or another) almost EVERY country in Latin America.

Americans REALLY need to educate themselves if they ever want to make peace with the rest of the world.

Actually, I think that we could do something like:

In Americas League games, "regions war" can still going on, since it's SA vs NA almost everytime... The problem is: How ppl will manage to trash talk, cuz most of the times, there are always ppl that who cross the line and start saying prejudiced things to each other

But in International events, we could cheer to each other, but the amount of similar cases mentioned above, kills almost all the chances of this happens

I will never respect you Americans as long as you continue to be arrogant, while you think you are superior for N reasons, even when a Brazilian team beats an American team we do not see Americans saying that LOUD played well, but that NRG or Optic played badly or that it was ''harmed by the audience'' (Sangares youre a fckin clown). so yes, as long as you americans continue with this ignorance I will never respect you

If you look at NA and BR CS there is a lot of respect between the two regions. BR even cheer for Liquid to win during major. They both feel almost united to take down EU. In Valorant, however, I don't feel like the respect will exist while there is no unstoppable region.
