Why did they not get Franchising is it because they are not popular enough or do they just not have the funding to be in it.

Its kinda upsetting seeing a really good team like The Guard get denied but from what we have seen from the franchised teams so far looks really promising including Evil Geniuses.

No worries, TGRD will be up there in VCT again in 24(as long as they win their Challengers league and the promo tourney, which is very possible tho). The core of net, trent, valyn and Jonah is really good, add tex to that who will only get more familiar with the structure and the team in the next weeks and we have a VCT-worthy squad capable of going toe to toe with the best. Maybe im a bit high with the copium, but theyre really good!

Riot looks as an org not really their team/players atm . I think they value the org financial standings as well as how well they're doing brand wise/clout wise in the valorant sphere more.
