If Champions has 16 teams and qualified teams are based of circuit points and that China will be included then it leaves 3 NA, 3 EMEA, 3 APAC and 3 China with 1 coming from each LCQ. However if LCQ is 8 teams then there are only 7 left and since Ascension is mid July will the winner be in LCQ?

I saw somewhere that a Chinese league may be able to run as early as Summer and that they will likely be having tournaments just like they did last year

Yea but it's braindead that they get 3 tickets to Champs by competing between themselves.

From what I read, ascension teams do not play in the same league as partnered teams. The reward of winning Ascension is getting into the next 2 years of the partnered VCT league, meaning the winners of 2023 Ascension compete in the big league during 2024-2025.
