Ardiis said on mixwell vlog that the stage is small and bad and that the previous competitions were better.
I can't wait to see if it's true, if not, call him a freaking bagre cause everyone is saying that the stage "is something else" on Twitter (people that could be there for footage).
It's today my bois and gals, starts today... 🔥

(bagre is a slang that stands for bad player, fool person, something bad)

let me remind this , what a logic
Flying around the world for one Bo3 match is an issue for pros, not for fans. Fans > pros/teams/Riot.
Fair point. But we focus on the intensity not duration of the experience. Better to watch one super dope, high-stakes match of your favorite team, than a bunch of matches that don’t matter. And again, more matches means a longer tournament. 32 teams is a lot!

As Vanity from C9 said: "I don't mind the format, otherwise it would be 2 months in Brazil, now they would find another problem. They will always find something to complain about."

ardiis was complaining more about São Paulo's transit, cuz there's a lot of traffic jam (He said that they took 35min to arrive in arena, when they should take 20min), but I think it's more Riot's fault, since they're the organizer of almost everything, including choosing the Hotels that teams use (If I'm not correct)
Now about the format, everyone knows that Single-elimination with BO3 is dogshit format, but everything was chosen by Riot 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's Sao Paulo, the fourth biggest city in the world, what did you expect? lol
Not only to mention that it's a lot of teams. They won't build hotels close to the practice rooms, one team or the other will be a little bit far from it.

That's the CBLOL main stage, it's supposed to be small because it happens every weekend. At the finals, they always throw a really big stage with a party and so on.

About the traffic subject that Ardiis mentioned, some people can't realize that all countries are different. Bigger, smaller cities, towns...
It's kinda unfortunate that he brings that, like every place has to be like the ones he has lived, but not at a point for people to make a big subject or problem.

I know... that's why I said that's Riot's fault, they should choose Hotels near the arena so it would take less time to arrive there
LCQ for champions last year was with hotels near the Arena

It's probably the nearest they could book, not all hotels are available, and not all hotels are going to be close. And "close" in SP, meaning 30 minutes, is not that bad tbh.

what i think people don't understand is this Tournament is not a Major like Champions or something like that

its just a start off tournament to get a short look at the teams, this one being double elim or something close to it would make it take way too long

the real hype comes at Masters and Champions

True and besides that Riot is doing a pretty good job in general, considering so many teams, a big city, and the whole expectation around that.
