Team Secret

Whats your guys opinions on Team Secret. Personally i think they were a pretty decent APAC team in 2022 and have a high possibility of doing really well in the Pacific League with their current roster.

Back in 2021 Team Secret was always a top team in Pacific and qualified for Champions 2021 through Circuit Points and was put into the group, stage with Gamit Esports, Team Vikings and Crazy Raccoons. They lost their opening match to Gambit and quickly swept through, the lowers against Team Vikings and Crazy Raccoons allowing them a spot in Playoffs but sadly losing to Acend in the Quarterfinals.

After their run through Champions 2021, Team Secrets popularity was high and they were a favourite to win APAC challengers and go to Reykjavik, but sadly came 3rd place and didn't make it to Masters 1 and then for the rest of the year didn't qualify for any other LANs and bombing out of LCQ in 4th place.

After Franchising was announced Team Secret dropped dispenser and Witz from their team and signed 2 new players, invy from Oasis Gaming and lenne from BLEED.

witz was good idk why they benched him

i feel that they are mid to bottom tier - basically wont win anything but also wont be last

adding invy, lenne and jremy(from 6th man to main roster) is good. They now have youngsters that have potential. Also note Dubstep is now playing as a sentinel instead of duelist which opens up the spot for jremy.

Washed boomers

I think a lot of people hate Team Secret because of the boomers but i think they are not that bad.. At least they wont be bottom place imo

their avg age is like 23-24. even tho they didnt qualify in those last year, they are still finishing top 3 or 4. maybe even better now

Idk why people sleeping on TS, considering they reached top 5-8 in champions got a 1 map of prime gambit and stomping Vikings roster which consist Sacy and saadhak who's 2022 champions and also dominated Crazy racoons with their Bazzi (GE now) and Munchkin ( T1 IGL now) with their debut lan event.
On 2022 even the meta wasn't on their sides, they still performed pretty good and consistently top apac. Now that the meta was back to how it was, i think they will do better than their last year run.

Don't forget they even qualified for masters 2 as BREN esports but could not make it due to Visa issues. They beat Paper Rex and where APAC seed 1.
