• Your tier S pros couldn't handle tier 3 in CS
• any faceit lvl 10 could go pro on valorant; the opposite is not true
• franchising is fake competition (unlike CS majors where every teams must qualify)
• You will never have full arenas with 20k ppl watching a Valorant game while shirtless drinking beers (rio major >>>> LOCK//IN sao paulo)

and this forum isn't even CLOSE to HLTV

to keep it VALORANT related: Paper rex is picking LOTUS vs C9 and f0rsaken will YORU humble NA once again (and they'll play harbor too)

This said I enjoy playing valorant more than CS; but sure as hell not watch it

true expect that franchising isnt true competition,every pro knows cs is harder mechanically and the skill gap is way bigger and ofc cs community wise is way more mature and less cringe tbh

If its CSGO, game will be Western Team focus heavy and neglect Eastern teams. Won't give equal growth opportunity across diff region.

Idk CS, but wasn't stew still a top pro in that game? I really don't know his caliber when he left CSGO, but in Valorant he isn't even in the top 100 players NA.

I'm trying to say, they're different games. Different gunplay, different utility, more streamlined roles, they're very different.

CSGO Esports is indeed more competitive than Valorant Esports because it's enjoyable and more interesting to watch clutchplays and sniper plays. Riot only cares about the profit and it's fans, while CSGO cares the competitive of the game. Like every month has a tournaments on CSGO while on valorant orgs is relying only for VCT' series.

CSGO is def harder and more competitive than Valorant
probably any CSGO pro could make it to the Valorant tier1 scene but not the other way around...
but sadly CSGO development have stopped (not 100% nut you get it)
In a few years Valorant will probably replace CSGO and take CSG fans unless if VALVE came with a huge thing like a new engine and make a CSGO 2 or whatever you gonna call it... only then CSGO will be #1 with a huge gap.... otherwise if they keep CSGO as it is today Valorant is gonna take their spot in a few years...
And yeah ofc CSGO players are better than Valorant if you wanna talk abt the aim/mechanics... but most Valorant pros came from CSGO so yeh, nothing to do/say abt it
