top 8 likely, them vs loud is a toss up as then its basically loud v optic 7 with slightly worse rosters overall.

Would love to see them go all the way but realistically speaking its unlikely.

I think the original optic 4 + ardiiss would be pretty close to what they had before

s0m has chemistry with FNS already and has smokes experience from early NRG. Yes he isn't as good as Marved but Marved chose not to play. Yes on paper keeping the full core and swapping yay for ardiis would be alot closer but I trust in FNS and Chets ability to bring out S0m as a better player much like how they have with many other players before. So I think it'll be okay for NRG in the long run.

That and by the sounds of it the teams chemistry is already pretty much there despite not having any matches yet, Ardiis included.

if s0m underperforms hard in brazil and then tokyo after then maybe its possible, but even if hes like lowkey sub par on controller its kinda unrealistic that he gets dropped considering his brand

Playing with 3/5ths of the old optic lineup + ardiss and chet will help him improve a lot.

nah i agree 100% he will be insane this year, just saying if he does end up being average he still wont get dropped. i dont think theres a better replacement considering chemistry, experience, and popularity

Honestly the Nrg/former optic roster is known for their slow starts in tournaments plus their eu curse. Playing koi is no joke especially with the firepower they have and the fact that Koldamenta + Barbar have beat them before. I think they’re a solid team but this format does not favor them at all. Not only that but they have to play giants next who are a team with amazing firepower and a good igl. If they make it that far they will rematch loud for the 0284749397th time. So it’s a throw up.

I am kinda worried bcoz of their slow starts previously and they are facing a strong team in KOI. If they can cross that then I am pretty sure they might qualify with Loud being the only team that can maybe give them a tough fight(I also think the present NRG is stronger than the present Loud).

Nah dude, the new roster has a lot of potential. They got Kolda and Trexx from the old guild who have been pretty good last year and they have sheydos and starxo who are also good in their roles. If there is a weak point then it is wolfen as we have not seen him much against t1 teams and maybe starxo who has underperformed last year. They can upset NRG for sure.

they will be better than optic in my opinion. s0m is at par with marved. ardiis is better than yay, more flexible and consistent.

They literally have the easiest quadrant in the tournament, if they dont get far they should honestly disband
