personally I agree with him that cryo is young and moldable, and with proper investment over time he have potential to rival ray .
and that doesnt change the fact yay is the best player in the game but cryo is better fit for 100t imo

You really think 100t did not want yay? Bro its yay every org wants him maybe he was the first one which 100t approached but there are 2 main contenders 100t and c9 , 100t is a young team with less experience , i think thats the reason yay choose c9 with better igl and better powerhouses like leaf and xeppa and if yay chooses c9 then 100t have only one option left that is cyro.

what if, 100T chose cryo exactly for the reasons you said-they have less experience and a team with less experience is easier to mould as a coach into what playstyle you are going for. maybe they did contact yay but in the long run, 100T would prefer cryo.
