May be look at from another perspective? Not buying a LCS spot saves them millions of dollars that they can invest in their valorant team? No one has infinite money, even if SEN were owned by Jeff Bezos they would still look to make money of their investment. And as for C9 yay, I think leaf would gladly give up OPing for yay and vanity would choose the same. Leaf was always a rifle duelist anyway.

This information doesn't make any sense as there is no buy-in for the Valorant franchising spot, there is for LCS, so them getting into franchising would literally have no effect on them buying the slot
