Riot is responsible for these tier 1 teams splitting up… it’s like watching children be torn apart from their family… all these poor orphans….

Riot has no moral compass, they only care about $$$$

Sad and pathetic company

I mean its better than LOL were teams had to pay like 10 to 20M USD just to become a franchised team.

Chill out bro... almost all the tier1 players are going to be signed to franchising + there's gonna be Ascension as well, so the rest of tier1 players that won't get franchised, are going to be promoted anyways
don't worry

I get you’re upset about the whole OPTIC situation but like I’ve stated before, why don’t you instead of being pissed at Riot, be pissed at OPTIC for their poor management and h3cz for his terrible past in franchised titles? No offence to h3cz, the legacy he has built in esports is nothing short of incredible but it has come at a cost to relationships and rosters alike, OPTIC’s partnership past isn’t glowing and if you took the few minutes to google about it all you would see why it would be hard for Riot to even consider investing in them. Riot is trying to become profitable in the next 3-4 years and want to make sure the teams they’re investing in are financially stable and also teams who they believe will benefit them in partnership and sorry but OPTIC’s franchised past doesn’t seem to point to them being a good candidate. This franchising is a business, you have to look at it from a business stand point and I can tell you now, OPTIC is a risk.
