in terms of international results, i agree. but i think a lot of people rate apac higher because of the depth of the region. apac has so many teams while there isn't many in korea. the 5th best apac team would beat the 5th best korean team. i do think ons can match up well against xerxia and boom though.

When people say APAC > KR it's not because they undermine DRX. It's only because APAC has a lot of in depth competition and so many countries. Indonesia, Thailand and even India will probably have lot of competition in the future as game only growing there rn and also these regions got so many sponsors and viewership.
KR is only 1 country and there are not many teams in the first place .
Aside from DRX and DWG who are big in LoL others didn't really get much sponsors and investors because of slow growth for last 2 years . Also the reason Korean gc was delayed

I'm saying this as an APAC fan and prx fan but currently the top teams in APAC really lack strong fundamentals. It was kinda exposed in this tournament. Xerxia is no where near the level they should be with how long they been second/third in the region. PRX is having a shit ton of inconsistency due to their playstyle. They need to tone down their aggression. It's becoming too predictable.

there's a fundamental problem when comparing 2-3 teams against only one, and then extending that to the whole region. You could either compare the top korean team (DRX) against the top korean team (PRX), but comparing DRX against the aggregate of all apac teams isn't fair since almost all regions are very top heavy, especially korea
