Where is there narrative coming from that he CANT play another agent?? Where is the proof that he cannot, or has failed? There is none. The reason he doesn't is out of his control. He doesn't decide what agent he plays is best for the team, that's mostly Chet. Why put him on entry raze or whatnot when you have a victor who is more than happy to run in
Dude, if he was as good with Raze as he is with Chamber he would play it in many maps, there is no other player in the world who doesn't play another agent on any map. Chamber is not the best pick on every single map. Why does his team not make him try to play other agents, well obviously cause it makes no sense since he is not gonna have the same impact he has on Chamber, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't do it if he was better at them. He is what he is, the best chamber in the world
Maybe to you chamber isnt the best, but to chet and fns it does. So many teams play differently, there is not one objective best comp on a map. Nobody is saying he is AS GOOD on raze than chamber, but you cant just automatically dismiss his abilities as a fact when you haven't seen it, just because you have a personal hunch.
The thing with titles as best player, people look at scoreboard. It's why it's rare for a versatile player to get the title of the best. It tends to lead towards the most mechanically gifted player, who gets the most impact on the role. That is yay at the moment.
Also need to look at consistency. So far I dont think there's another player as consistent as yay with performing well.
tbh the people who hate on yay confuse me.
Dude is the most consistent fragger in the game, and has 0 conflicts with anyone. there's 0 reason to dislike the guy, be it his playstyle, or as an online personality.
also people who say he crutches on op body shot, dont remember him back when he rifled as Jett when he first joined Envy. The guy has proven he'd top tier with both rifle and op.
