Nah I get him, got can be overwhelming at the beginning when you have no idea who’s who’s so it takes some time to get used to the show and it’s characters, after that even if you go back it’ll be the coolest thing ever

Hotd however has presented a much lighter (still quite heavy but when compared to got it’s nothing) start, with perfect pacing and a lot less characters to introduce at the start

So while it might not seem as exciting as got yet, hotd is taking its time and laying information at a much more softer pace, which is why they decided to start the series 30 years before the war instead of only a few months like thrones did
