  3. babybay on Phoenix on Ascent (ARE U KIDDING ME ???)
  4. Going A on Ascent without neutralising bang

That icebox without sage was such a troll. Also babybay on pheonix didn't work out at all. FaZe picked attack and didn't do shit. Entry on site with pheonix was so difficult

all L takes without any insights into the thought process behind those decisions...

#1 Breeze instead of Haven.. bruh its bo5 so u only veto 1 map, then you just pick what map at what position works for you. You dont know whether they wanted to get Breeze over with, instead of it being a tie-breaker 5th map.

Pheonix was high risk high reward since most teams wont be prepared against it, sometimes shit like this works, most times it wont work. Just like Yoru on Bind.

  1. Faze knew 100T has a strong Breeze so they should have left it for later and played Haven first. They got 3-0'd trying to get the harder maps out first. If they did Haven before Breeze they had a chance to win a map. Sure at the end you'd have to play all maps and 100T still woulda won but at least it'd be a 3-1

  2. Phoenix is NOT high risk high reward. If anything it's high risk low reward. "Teams won't be prepared for it" bud it's phoenix, There is nothing to prepare against him !!! And putting your most aggressive player on the least mobile duelist, that too on ascent where it's already hard to get out of choke points. If their goal was to catch them off guard at least go Neon or Raze

Unexpected don't mean that it's special. Like how the fuck can someone entry site without phoenix ult? Omen's smoke isn't enough especially if Faze will back out of site which makes their every attacker play a gamble.

vlr is full of braindead takes, no wonder ur its resident nerd. you are wrong and just being a hindsight harry trying to find reasons why Faze lost when you had predicted otherwise.

  1. Look at the upper bracket match. Faze always bans Bind and they didnt play Bind against 100t so they go on and stick to that. "atleast itd be a 3-1" is the dumbest thing to say because Faze would be confident of winning every map except Bind and Breeze - maybe they recognized what mistakes were made and thought they could close it out OR they didnt feel confident and wanted to get it over with instead of having to play it later. In short, the map choices made EVEN before the match starts are not mistakes at all.

  2. They obviously did pracc with Pheonix, moreover 100t kept the same comp against them on Ascent as the upper bracket match (which Faze won) so its obvious they knew what they were doing. Did they execute their plans? No. Did they make mistakes? Yes. Was it a strat mistake? You cant say simply because these guys were knocked out 0-2 vs Guard and now suddenly 0-2 against 100T - nerves get to everyone and once the snowball started rolling they couldnt control it. Happens to alot of teams.

Anyway I wont reply further, u seem like a nerd who would prob have 100 account to upfrag every L take u got in ur bag lol

Idk what's so hard for u to comprehend here

  1. Should have played Haven first bcoz they had higher chances of winning it. So getting an early map advantage is better.
  2. Can't believe I have to explain to you that Phoenix on Ascent attack is bad. Neon/Raze would have been better in every possible way.

Plus don't be butthurt that my take got upvoted bcoz it was more sensible. Plz don't reply further
