The only reason asians didn't dominate cs:go was that Valve never properly released the game in the APAC region. Given proper investment and attention from Volvo, asians would have dominated CS:GO just as much methinks

In general, I think Asia has an advantage over EU which has an advantage of NA due to cultural differences. In Asia, there is a huge gaming culture with computer cafes and even gaming schools. The same applies to EU, but from what I've seen, to a lesser extent. And NA, while a lot of people play games, the popularity of gaming cafes and gaming schools isn't as common compared to the other two.
