Fns said it right, why does a team get a bye into playoffs cause of winning a regional? Every team should play group stage and playoffs should bet the top two of those groups, masters berlin was great in this regard we saw G2 vs Sen, G2 vd Gambit, 100 t vs Acend, 100t vs Gambit, Gambit vs VS, NV vs Gambit. Also, I think KR Apac and NA should also get on more slot and instead of these 2 matches per day, there should be 3 for the group stage and 2 for the playoffs. Riot had a really good format but ruined it idk why?

The Plan for 2021 VCT was kinda good tbh 4 16 Teams LAN a year with a proper format
I don't get why riot is not doing those
the current masters format takes 24 games and the 16 team format takes like 27 games

but this is too much, the group b in this stage was ass in m2 berlin every group was exciting, a star team was in every group and upset happened in each group.

M3 winner was just automatically qualified, nothing else
it kinda rewarded the region which had the best team before champions

I guess for the lcq teams there should be play-ins for champs while groups are for everyone, while the top team from each region gets number 1 seeds with some point advantages.

What FNS said was true. DRX and NTH are champions in their respective regions. I'm having difficulties understanding why they had to fight their way out of groups when other champions got a bye into playoffs.

yeah it's very fucked up that JP and KR can't have a playoff seed (not saying they 100% deserve one) and even the situation for BR and LATAM is weird.
