APAC franchising

With the results of the apac challengers I’m wondering what’s going to happen in terms of franchising? There are six regions (KR,JP,SEA,CH,OCE,SA) but only ten to twelve slots so how would they divide it up and which teams are willing to invest in this region because there are probably plenty of foreign and domestic orgs ready to step in if they don’t get in in EMEA or NA.

Teams with the greatest chance rn are Team secret, DRX, Order, zeta, ONIC and maybe Northeption because they are the only apparent stable orgs in the region.

Any thoughts?

as there are so many teams in EMEA/NA, probably riot will tell them that they can have franchises but it is not EMEA/NA, but they will probably move to other regions to enter the franchises

I don't think having a current team is mandatory sure it might be a + point but there are bigger orgs which are trying for franchising currently with no signed team at least from India and I'm sure you'll see the same from Singapore then there are EU/NA orgs in the mix too right? so making any assumptions as of now is pointless imo

the discussion should be who all have applied for APAC franchising instead

Too soon to talk apac franchising.
Since we don't know will Riot separate East Asia and APAC for franchising?
