L, but not surprising since NA at least for time being generates more money and if I'm not wrong Carlos himself lives in New York and wanted to expand G2 more to NA markets as well. Still interesting considering that they apparently tried to do same with their LoL team as well even tho LEC is arguably more popular than LCS and G2 is most popular team in EU and one of the most popular in the world. I guess they just want to dominate LCS lol

Maybe because of NA sponsors for Esport are much bigger than EU and NA market also make more money (Faze, 100T, TSM all NA based).

Considering the Valo fanbase in EU, not a bad decision org wise. But NA already have a lot of orgs to represent

That's the future of VAL

A good amount of orgs will move to BR aswell, its so cheap, probably like 10% of what they actually pay to EU/NA rosters lmao
And the fanbase increase potential is so huge

BR is cheap and have big fanbase but rn , BR market don't generate as much money as NA/EU. Thats why big orgs rarely invest in BR Esport in many games not just VAL

The door is not closed: G2 can still aspire to become an NA or EU franchise as part of the process, I will continue to report as I progress 🧐

braindead move, there is not avaliable players to aspire to win something in NA. All the good players already play in franchise teams, we are going to get waste from other teams. I'd rather to stay with mixwell for another 10 years

That's the thing. G2 is going to have a NA HQ. That can increase the chances

Idk the tweet said that they tried to move G2 LoL to NA. And I remember there being some rumors last year.
