save tf2

I know I'm not the only one when I say some of my favorite gaming moments with friends have been playing tf2 and just having so much fun no matter what server or community we were in. I want other people so also have those experiences but without any real support from valve in years the community is slowly dying and one of the best team based fps games ever might just be forgotten due to neglect by the developers.

Asking Valve to save a game is hilarious. Valve doesn't give a fuck about its games. Give up bro.

why should we let it die, the few games I can get with no bots or hackers still have the same feeling of fun I used to get all the time playing, I truly think it can be a timeless game if valve actually gave a shit

Isnt there some custom server shit for that game. Boomers love that game so there’s gotta be something out there

I came from TF2. My esports journey came from TF2. I legit owe my good massive multiplayer online experience due to TF2. As old as the game is, the memories I've made since 2015 brought me to where I am today. I'd never have gotten the spot at VLR if it wasn't for my experience working in competitive TF2. Lots of players here too were from TF2. It's sad to see that when I left the scene, the game was slowly forming to where it is now. I loved it. And I know the community, old or new, loved it dearly. There's a saying amongst folks in the community TF2 circle: "You never leave TF2." And that still stands today.

The game is on the brink of ruins. And the community isn't letting it happen. We survived living amongst scraps for over a decade - we're not giving it up now.

Imagine caring about a game when even it's Dev's don't care about it

Because the fanbase does not end with the developers.

As an ex competitive tf2 player, I relate to this very heavily. Sad to see the negative state of affairs of the game currently.

bruh the last major update which was jungle inferno was like 5 years ago, valve gave up on tf2 way before they gave up on even CSGO and tf2 didn't have the community like cs so they just filled it with bots and left it to die a slow death

I heard TF2 people are gonna start tweeting about TF2 on a certain day just to appreciate the game. It includes support from content creators and many other people. If anyone knows, it would be great to share the details over here.
