Because esports is more entertaining then sports
Imagine watching 90 mins of football for example where its just 5 minutes max of entertaining goals and 85 minutes of people running around like donkeys
Contrary to any esports where every round ( exception being most eco rounds) is entertaining and theres constant action

Yes, football is the best out of all the sports, but even the best sport is nothing in terms of entertainment compared to esports.
As for my attention span, yes, i have adhd, cant control that, but it doesnt change the fact that sports are more popular simply because they are older then esports. Entertainment wise any popular esport > the goat game of sports
