They fell off the moment they lost derrekow
Tbf nobody really said that. They just thought he'd be mid but decent and be carried by firepower.
He was washed tho. He's just in the dryer rn, and that's fine.
In 2025 that's still considered "writing."
Are you writing Minecraft fanfiction about a sexual assault case?
Alright then...
Horrible video, but he did give credible evidence at the beginning. Definitely some matchfixing going on. His analysis was a big stretch tho. People are quick to discard the entire thing because of the bad analysis, but there is still pretty damning evidence of match-fixing.
If that's enough to forget about how well he played all year then every single player in the league is dogwater ass. They all have horrible chokes.
Qualifiers are also a big part of the tournament tho. They directly inform who plays in the main event, and if other teams or the community believes the path to qualify was bad—and therefore the qualifying teams don't deserve to be there and aren't better than the people they beat out—then it invalidates a lot of the respect you get for winning the tournament. It also makes it easier to brush it off when or if you lose.
Yea but you're asking why people are calling it a mickey right now. And the answer is that right now the tournament is horrible.
Maybe in the future it'll be bigger, but these tournaments also often rebrand and shift, and they never give a lot of forethought to these things anyway. So prob not. Either way that's just speculation and right now the tournament sucks.
Horrible format, no Lan so far, poor scheduling, horrible production, and first time the tournament has been run. What do you expect?
The first few games weren't even streamed.
Money is only one factor. I could hold a 3 million dollar money match bo1 in my backyard and it wouldn't make the victor the best team in the world.
The team did matchfix tho. The cheater allegations are the only ones that are weird.
Grooming is not worse than it was before. Obviously not. It's just taken a different form.
Sinatraa's case had a lot more supporting evidence than Flor at the time, including a pretty damning voice recording. The way they're handling this honestly isn't too inconsistent with how they've handled other similar cases.
I'm pretty sure Sinatraa's case came literally right before the first international masters too, whereas Flor isn't even currently playing.
fr tho they're hyping up the investigation like a crypto scam that will never deliver...
Definitely real though. Wouldn't make much sense if it wasn't, and there's plenty of corroboration.
surprisingly, truck driving is significantly worse on your health
I don't understand how we still have the reputation as the "woke" country with Trump in office. there are plenty of more left-leaning countries...
If our second-third seeded teams get exposed again like Sentinels did at the next international then yes. These teams are random as fuck tho so who knows.
Unironically some people are just better at playing on bad teams. Others look bad, but then bounce back once they're off.
She's playing on the worst EMEA team. The vast majority of duelists would look shit on Apeks. I don't even have that high of expectations for her outside of Apeks, but this is clearly not a fair shot or a good representation of her talent as a player.
I don't really know of anyone calling him the goat IGL unless they just don't know any IGLs. He's also really not as bad as you're making him out to be. He's been pretty bad this year, but the end of last year can be forgiven with how sudden it was, and he's been consistently fine besides his standout optic years. All his other teams succeeded and were pretty good. Might be washed now, but saying he's always been bad is revisionist.
Unfortunately, trans hate is one of the number one talking points for the right rn. In gaming, where most people ignore politics or social issues because they aren't effected and are used to toxic in-game lobbies, they also tend to have little to no empathy or understanding of trans people. Valorant is actually one of the better of esports for them since they actually try to keep things civil and fish out some of the weirdos, but it's still not great by any means.
There are still many pockets of the scene that are trans-friendly though, which is a rarity for an esport. I would seek out and enjoy those, since you have little way of changing the minds of people who don't care or aren't empathetic enough to see reason
val is actually really balanced compared to a lot of other games.
People will never be happy tho, just want to be mad at the game.
Is this content creation or actually on the team?
G2 number one.
2G, Furia, EG bottom 3,
Random number generator for the rest
Can yall take us over instead?
honestly not a lot of people actually say it, but it's silly so it's peak
dont worry I prejacked the disappointment. I'm expecting win against only 2G and maybe EG. No way they do worse than that... right?
wait I just looked it up NRG didn't apply either? Is this a rare NRG W in 2025? I thought I'd just be getting disappointments all year
you aint normal buddy. ur ass is on vlr
he wont get arrested or charged for it, but people don't have to like it lmao
I love the content of the Re:Zero webnovels a lot, but holy lord is it sooooooo slow. They be dropping 1 million words on one arc that could've been a fourth of the size
its a 2 sentence twitter apology, that shit takes nothing to do. prob just him and the org want to put up a more professional front and not drop pseudo-slurs on a podcast.
every team except t1 is bad, actually.
You're taking shit way to seriously bro. You're writing literal fanfiction about them wanting to clown on every player.
They spent a lot of time gassing up T1. More than G2 that episode, actually. They just also think G2 looked really good and was the best team over all at the event. They also think T1 is clearly at least second best team and is also really good. They are allowed to have opinions.
It's kickoff. Regions always feel weird in kickoff. Teams will probably get a lot better and a lot more even as the year goes along.
I just hope 2G and Furia stay the same. They're funny
If you're gonna bait at least make the bait readable. This capitalization is hurting my eyes
Most of the time they only criticize the team as a whole, and when they do call out specific people for poor performances they aren't actually that harsh about it. They don't act like some people are "absolute shitters" and I have no idea where you got this idea.
Let the analysts be a little bit candid. It's refreshing. You're giving way to much special care to the players. They're public figures, they can take some criticism on their gameplay.
