LCQ

Yeah no

posted about 3 years ago

C9 quite possibly, but we'll have to see

posted about 3 years ago

First of all, their year isn't over, we'll see what they look like in LCQ. Secondly, I think calling them a fluke team undermines how good they were, and how 2 unfortunate games caused half the community to mock them.

posted about 3 years ago

Calling teams flukes is stupid. Sometimes things click and a team makes a deep run, and then never is able to repeat that performance. Calling them a fluke implies that they were never good when in fact, they WERE very good, but then something changed afterwards (either other teams got better, players developed personal problems with each other, etc, etc). In a game as new as Valorant we will see MANY "flukes" (especially since there's so few tournaments and qualification is so difficult), but that doesn't mean those teams were undeserving of their placements and shouldn't be respected for their great runs. Obviously a consistent top team is better than another that made it once, but we haven't ever had a consistent top team internationally (with maybe the exception of Gambit from last year).

TLDR: It's stupid to call teams flukes and belittle them for it; they deserved their wins.

I'd put them all on the same tier

Also when I supported Guard throught stage 1 they went from losing to Knights in an NSG to beating Optic to become NA champs. It was only after they lost in masters that they had a rough time with the meta change. The Zeta thing was unfortunate tho :(

posted about 3 years ago

Wrong because I supported Optic at the end of Masters

posted about 3 years ago

I think NTH and Xerxia will have close matches but still not make it out of groups

posted about 3 years ago

Alright 61Hiko from Turkey. I bow down to your genius opinion. Obviously you know better.

posted about 3 years ago

"Natural order" bruh. Why can't you admit other regions get better?

posted about 3 years ago

Fnatic either looks shaky and goes out immediately or make it to finals
Optic makes it deep
Loud makes it deep
DRX sadly get figured out after groups and lose in playoffs again before reaching top 4
Guild and XSET maybe get one upset in, but don't make it super deep
Kru doesn't do well
FPX (without ange1) does awful or FPX (with ange1) does reasonably well

My predictions for potential finals teams:
Optic, Loud, Fnatic, FPX

Really hoping I'm wrong about this tho, I want an upset!!

They've increased their map depth a lot since last masters, PLUS they got unlucky to face the most focused team in valorant history at a point when Marved was hitting an all time high, FNS was going insane calling wise, and Yay was even more yay than usual. Next time, they'll be better plus Loud switched around roles a bit, incorporated the Fade, and Less on Chamber is insane.

Loud

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah someone didn't watch the game. Sure there were some mistakes, but NTH just beat them

posted about 3 years ago

I fucking hope not. We deserve to see if any team can beat full strength fnatic (I think Optic and Loud are equally matched)

posted about 3 years ago

This thread is now done, after reviewing the options, I am firmly on the LOUD train

Bet

posted about 3 years ago

I like them but I need to see them beat a top tier team with style before I support them

posted about 3 years ago

I will after masters

posted about 3 years ago

So if you wanna eat at a good resturant, but you're not sure what's good around here, you shouldn't ask around becasue you need to make your own opinions?

posted about 3 years ago

I don't really have a connection to NTH because I don't know them that well. Also, even tho Yay is one of my favorite players, I don't wanna just support the best team in NA because they're the best. XSET is meh too.

posted about 3 years ago

I wanna hear what other people say my dude

posted about 3 years ago

Obviously my #1 team is Guard, but they're not going, so I switched to Zeta, but they're not making it either. What team should I support for masters?

posted about 3 years ago

Right ofc Optic too. Idk how I forgot about them.

posted about 3 years ago

I’m so excited to see the full team in franchising against the best of NA

I’m so sad

I think Guard and EG are likely but not guaranteed by any means. Everyone and their dog is applying for partnership in NA.

posted about 3 years ago

That's why they're not getting in. C9 and 100T are probably the only NA teams with a guarantee.

posted about 3 years ago

MWZERA WILL REPLACE HIM

posted about 3 years ago

You literally support MIBR

posted about 3 years ago

I really want Zeta to qualify

posted about 3 years ago

They won it all throughout masters except vs G2. Nth just played well and Zeta messed up a bit.

posted about 3 years ago

That's why I'm rooting for Zeta now!

posted about 3 years ago

Sadly that is CSGO and I do not care about that game. If they host a valo one, I'll go.

TS haven went INSANE

posted about 3 years ago

I need a Japan Champions game

posted about 3 years ago

Facts! I wish NA playoffs were on LAN, then maybe Guard could've gotten the experience they needed, plus it would be way cooler.

posted about 3 years ago

I will come to brazil for that
