Hiii I am looking to buy my first gaming pc as I promised myself after hitting plat with my crappy laptop and I literally have zero knowledge about anything PC related so I would really appreciate your help!!!

I only play Valo so I am just looking for a PC that can give me consistently over 144 fps so I can pair it with a 144hz monitor. What is important and what do I have to pay attention to when buying one? Btw I would prefer just buying a pc instead of building one, so if you have any concrete suggestions please let me know. Honestly whats up with Riot announcing everything at the last fucking minute? Open quals for Na are supposed to start the beginning of December, Shankz even asked Sinatraa if hes down to play quals "next week" tho he might have mispoken. Why are there no official announcements?

There is essentially no T2 roster officially announced except the SR roster. Also I read somewhere that some orgs get invited to ascension and dont have to play the quals, we also dont know who these are no? We don't even know how many teams will be in in the NA regional league, how many will qualify for the ascension tournament etc. Idk its so dumb and seems unprofessional. I would hope that managers/players have more information internally but with teams still getting build rn and rosters not even announced it does not seem like it. Feel like this is actually a huge reason why orgs are hesitant to invest into the scene bc they have little time to build a good team and they don't even know how many teams they will have to compete against for that one one franchising spot.

Lmfaoo like for ascension / tier 2 since most of these players were t1 last year my bad xdd just meaning they want to build a competitive roster to potentially promote to the americas league next year and i could see it happening.

So now that it is confirmed that G2 is building a roster for NA ascension what do you think it will look like?

With immi signed as coach I think g2 zander is basically confirmed after he leaked dms with G2 Rob that said "email already sent.."

Also zander said he might reunite with one v1 player. Think it would be either penny or wippie but wippie has been seen scrimming with the oxygen roster, so it should be penny.

Zander went 5-0 in closed winning against optic, nrg etc. the first time he igld in tier1 while also fragging out. V1 failing to make it in stage 2 was not his fault. And because of the open qualifier system he had literally no other game anymore to prove himself. People said he only had one run but when did he have another opportunity? I honestly think he is the igl with the most potential (with valyn) and could be crazy with a good coach.

YES THANK YOU thats my point. There were so many great free agents and most would have chosen Sentinels as the biggest brand in Valo over other teams. Why did they decide to go for xset players who despite their good performance in champs did not look like one of the best teams in the world instead of for example Optic players , buying out a big name from EU etc. (kinda what NRG is doing honestly). I feel like they could have done so much better.

Lets be honest xset was one of the NA orgs with the least fans even despite their success + Cryo was their most popular player. Rn Im way more excited to watch NRG, C9 and 100T than Sentinels.

I feel like they are not only losing fans but even people like me who were just hyped to watch them everytime. Btw this is not me saying they should have stuck with their old players - I love that they want to build a more competitive team - but maybe they should not add the core roster of one of the most boring orgs when literally every player out there would have loved to play for you.

It obviously also depends on the rest of the team but with it looking like they are not resigning tenz and maybe adding BCJ (could be likely since he has no buyout has opposed to trent for example) I literally could not care less.

Still think dephh and then marved would probably be the better option tho

thats my guess too. It heavily depends on who they choose as their IGL. Since George said valyn isnt going to sen when that fake report came out and he also said during one of his streams that he doesnt know anything about zander joining a team, I think dephh is the only IGL left on my list. Role wise they would then need a smoker and an entry fragger where marved and zekken would be the best options (+ zekken can play sova etc. too so tenz can play duelist when they play no chamber comps).

So 100% locked are FNS and vanity. I expect 100t to keep stellar although I do think they could possibly upgrade from him but prob wont.

Apparently sentinels signed someone big as coach. Had zanders stream on in the background today and he said something like sentinels coach will be exciting. Would be a huge w for sen tbh since that has been there problem in the past.

Guess rawkus is out or maybe stays as an assistant coach. I thought him talking the way he did about marved (him thinking signing marved would be the best thing to do) gave the impression like he has no say in who will be on the sentinels roster which would further show that hes gone.

idk my best guess would be chet cause who else is available as a coach that would warrant zander mentioning it? maybe sliggy? he said hes open to coaching anywhere but im not sure if he is willing to return to coaching yet.

Would actually be so undeserved. I have nothing against him, he seems like a very nice guy but there is no way he is a top 5 controller in na. I wonder if a team would really sign him just for clout. Bang, marved, vanity are 100% in franchising and than you have the likes of supamen, valyn, hazed, zander and moose left who are all more proven imo.

Bro when i named the orgs I literally meant the orgs not the current rosters. Just to say these are big orgs with resources to field and market a competitive team. And after the best 25 NA players will be signed to the franchise teams there will be a hell of a lot former tier1 pros left who would have to play in the regional NA league unless they choose to retire. These teams are gonna be stacked

I feel like everyone is so pessimistic about franchising since its so limited, but I feel like if orgs and players embrace the T2 scene, many people would actually enjoy watching it.

Just imagine the NA league with orgs like TSM, Guard, Optic, V1, XSET, Faze, Complexity etc. (G2 maybe lol). Also the rosters would actually be stacked since only 25 NA pros will be in franchising leaving several other who are currently considered t1 pros to play on these teams. And rooting for the top 2 or 3 of this league when playing against BR and LATAM in ascension for the spot in the Americas league will definitely be exciting.

Idk correct me if im wrong but who actually watched NA t2 scene before and what even was the scene beside knights weekly and nerdstreet tournaments?? The system before was so bad even the t1 scene, orgs like v1 had their season ended in May cause you had that mess of open qualifiers. Also every team that didnt play internationally really only had the two months of NA challengers where they played actual meaningful games that people watched. The league system is so much better to watch as a viewer in my opinion and much better fitting for a game like Valorant that can feel random cause you have to prove consistency to be at the top of the league in the end.
