As we all know paper rex has had a big playstyle change recently where they actual default the map before they do their W Gaming™. Another oddity is they are now incredibly ass on pistols. My theory is shifting the aggression to later in the round was probably done by forcing them to not take fights in the first 30 to 40 seconds of the round with the exception of maybe something when he's on duelist. I think cause of that they are overthinking when the opponents push immediately in pistols. what do y'all think

Sunset they looked pretty solid so that's fair but didn't alfa literally say they only had prep for one side of pearl and like one scrim? Granted they did insanely well all things considered but if they pushed prx on pearl which was one of their best maps so well with such less prep then they arguably could've taken it to at least game 5 if they had done more prep. Of course it's easier to say this in hindsight and they were in the lowers so they probably had no time.

people clowned on paper rex for years because being close/2nd place wasn't good enough but now suddenly participation in finals is worth a lot? Also emea is definitely a worse region now since they can't seem to make the best of their talent. All the european players on APAC rosters seem to be cooking up a storm. I think the pen value would make him worth using even with said issues. I think it's a problem if all the smokes agents were similar with only differences in their non smoke util. The initiator roster has a lot of variance in the way the agents work. No two flashes are the same and no recons are the exact same either. I think it's problematic that the controller agents are all so similar as of now.
