Brazil has such a deep talent pool that still keeps producing generational players from different roles to this day, but there hasn't even been a single good IGL to come out of the region, its an actual bizarre problem.
Yes.
(No, but it's a funny inside joke I can't believe some people actually believe it)
Maybe if the change wasn't so sudden I'd be less concerned, but getting the IGL role with no experience on such a short notice is worrying to say the least
Artzin stepped down from the role, and Frod chose Verno to IGL instead

I mean it was definitely a narrative that they probably shouldn't have spread especially to a rookie, but Verno already explained he wasn't focused on comming as much because everyone else in that squad was so vocal, that all he thought he could really do was focus on trying to kill people, so there's some truth to that, but in the end whole story is that theres no serious drama between people but it just didn't work out (which is typical like other teams) and that's that really.
All this happening to him in his rookie season, kid must be getting whiplash
I'm kind of worried for this kid, rookie year literally first time IGLing and with a full Brazilian squad after previous one stepped down, the change was most probably brought less than a week before their match against Lev, and he's supposed to lead this squad to securing a champs spot (presumably gets all the blame if they don't), the pressure must be crazy for him right now π
It was Mitch I'm pretty sure (IGL for C9 now)
Robbie said he had a hard time with the language barrier in his first month, so I'm happy this is all working out for them
I will never understand Sayf doing so good on duelist and him going nah lemme go IGL instead
EXL the real threat everyone should be afraid of βοΈ
True, which is why I don't understand why Fr0d still picked Ascent, regardless of comp, they are actual ass on it and literally haven't won once this year so far on that map (literally got beaten by FURIA last split π)
Good thing Yoru is meta right now (but who knows about next year)
China upsets are fun to watch icl
I've watched his streams, he didn't tilt that much, but he was pretty quiet in his recent streams, his wife in chat I'm pretty sure just said he was just focusing
I mean Aspas and Verno's contracts are literally only until this year, no shit they're disbanding (unless they renew which is unlikely)
TL is a good team though π
Completely different meta, he was playing Breach a lot last split, who is actual shit now unfortunately
He loves taking space even in initiator and dying first with full util so much though (even then his util is pretty mid) π₯
Artzin, Cortezia and Verno have been playing duo ranked together, other than that they're on their solo ranked arc I guess
4 guys on site 1 planting and not one dart breaker it's looking cooked for them π₯
The real question was why didn't anyone break dart for Verno
I forgot one of Furia's only map wins last stage was literally Ascent vs. MIBR, yeah they are horrendous at this map
Well with this MIBR comp Kru definitely clears
MIBR Ascent was never good in the first place lmfao
He loved selflessly taking space either for the benefit or detriment of the team even on initiator, he's just better on duelist π
Triple whammy when they do contact play simulator and dry peek into awps again π₯
They removed their Breach in Sunset vs TL (but comp was still mid) maybe they learned ππ
That's fine I like Kru I just need to see that MIBR learned that Breach is just shit now
I better not see Artzin on Breach again tomorrow Frod please
EWC literally paying anybody to advertise the event but then strikes free promotion lol
MIBR wincon: Do not put Artzin on Breach ever again I am actually begging
I agree, in such a highly volatile and competitive scene with mostly young people with egos (don't mean it in a bad way), disagreements and arguments will be inevitable, it really just depends on how certain teams/individuals handle it to either letting discourse generate growth within the team or just simply fucking up the team atmosphere and vibes.
I read somewhere that Leaf has a history before with Crohn's disease (?)
Half of these were actually really entertaining as a viewer, hoping Stage 2/Champs deliver more of these (of course excluding the serious allegations parts)
Him calling Aspas overrated and a baiter in a video
The concept and shots is actually really good, especially fw the color grading
I mean the ragebait worked tbf π
Yeah hopefully whatever problem they had in EMEA GF/Toronto got resolved, based on their reactions its definitely gonna be a huge morale boost for them in Stage 2
I mean even before the event I already saw people saying they're either gonna bomb out or do good and no inbetween, and I think it's literally because of international inexperience that caused that sad result so not much else to say or analyze
(Plus the most uncreative comps ever conceived but we move on)
