I don't think a lot of people liked the format tbh, let's hope they do better for champions.

anything can happen tbh, talk after the game is over

everyone sleeping on this guy. single handedly stopped the unstoppable comeback made by SEN on haven

should've asked this question before today's matches lol. I think 100T vs Gambit is good as well.

All very interesting matches. The teams I thought would reach the finals were eliminated. Competitive Valorant is really unpredictable.

Easily the best in the whole event

VS and NV

if you're right I'm gonna cry from happiness

It's not that surprising. He used to be an aggressive player in cs, trying to convert that to valorant is almost instinctual for someone like him.

cringe

Saying PRX > Acend is too far-fetched. VS was clearly saving strats against PRX and played phenomenally against Acend. Not trying to discredit PRX tho, from the matches I've saw clearly SEA > BR > JP

eu "VS" na final

11-3 comeback, they struggled hard for that win.

If you haven't noticed yet, all of NA seeds have struggled on Icebox.

1 - PRX (My sleep schedule was fucked for the entire Berlin qualifiers, so I watched mostly SEA region when it was live. I support NA but at the same time love a good underdog story.)
2 - Envy (Used to tune in yay's stream a lot when he was prominent in cs and now in valorant, and he is a great guy.)
3 - Gambit (Ice cold persona from the russians, as if they have the aura of fearlessness surrounding them.)
4 - VS & 5 - 100T (Methodical gameplay, using abilities to capture objective points which greatly contrasts team like SMB which relies on firepower)
6 - SEN (NA)

Man you're underrating PRX. There's a reason why it was such a close match, and it's so apparent people underestimate PRX too much.

The moment 100t hesitates is the moment they lose

Regardless the generalization is a really bad outlook towards Valorant as a whole. Even if 100T is 2nd seed, you have to account that they might've had a bad day.

I agree with your point of international tournaments, but the difference between T2 and T1 in any region is massive. You're referring to the recent matches at the highest level of play, between two teams that clearly have a gap between them. The generalization doesn't validate the point that the level of competition is really low in Valorant.

Team Secret will go Champions based of Challenger Playoffs placement.

EDIT: If PRX doesn't win once or get out of groups.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah that won't happen. The reason he gets good score lines is because his team sets it up for him. Yeah he pops off alone sometimes but the team chemistry is already good. Check the vlogs they've done on their YouTube channel.

Mkael was their sova, it's better to pick up an initiator or sentinel for them rather than an experienced Jett or a smoker. mummAy may be a good choice for other teams, but Shawn on a duelist and gMd on omen are the core of Gen.G imo.

Yes. The game has been out for long enough where EU csgo pros switching to Val will not adapt in time to the current meta and skill of pros right now.

The only actual good take

Based take:
India vs Indonesia viewership
1b pop vs 276m pop

India will have more viewership

If you care that much you deserve to get downfragged

I know there are gonna to be some sick fucks here baiting. Regardless if it's not valorant, cancer is truly a bitch.

Literal worst group for PRX. Regardless, #PRXWIN

It's so unfortunate

Even though I'm a PRX fan, someone else said it best:

Bren and PRX rely too much on their Jett star players. If they have a bad day it's over for them.

I'm on the hopium tho

posted about 2 years ago

It's good.

posted about 2 years ago

I'll be honest and say that SEA has the most upset potential. If it's a good day + their star players dominates then that'll be an insane match to watch regardless of the opponent.

C9 to bottom of tier 2, almost feel bad for them.
