george geddes wrote an articel about how sentinels is looking to pick up 2 new coaches and they have their eyes set on a different igl other than shahz. also shahzam's contract ends at the end of the year so it wont be difficult to remove him off the team considering his contracts almost up.
they probably looking at picking up chet and mce, and the igl is probably valyn, since it seems that both igls are looking at the same igl. otherwise its chet and another igl, and they are looking at fns.

'I was sitting in my college class economics 202 when the teacher assigned a daunting group project. ok yeah trent is really good, but i can only put him in top 3 NA, not the best initiator in the region. Both bcj and crashies have proven that they can perform against the worlds best talent, and bcj was event the highest rated initiator at champs. so it doesnt make sense to say trent is better than both of them while only playing in the LCQ.

I get trent is good but where is all this love for trent coming from.? What happened to bcj the highest rated and therefore best initiator at champions or crashies who has carried optic when yay has had off days? I'm not saying trent is bad or doesn't deserve it but hes 3rd place atm imo.
Trent needs good teammates and experienced players to help him stay calm, something that teams like c9 and possibly sen or nrg can provide for him depending on who the other teams sign as other players. Trent is a young player, and he was on a team led by young and inexperienced and unproven players. If he has players with experience giving calls, he may feel more comfortable and would therefore play better.

yeah that is true. i am scared that most teams that dont have a player who can play sentinel agents to a high level (like less or stellar or alfajer or rb) will suffer a lot, which looks like an issue c9 are going to have to deal with. also, i partiallly agree that marved is a really good pickup, but it would only be as a 6th man in the current meta since double controller meta is long gone, and has been replaced with triple inititator meta instead. thats why c9 needs to think really carefully about their fifth and sub imo.

The problem is that sentinel agents aren't in the meta rn. Therefore, a player who can flex initiators and is able to adapt to new roles well is needed.
But he's one of the best smoke players in NA and vanity doesn't play sova well, which is still essential for a good team comp on a couple of maps.
But he didn't play controller with c9 did he? It doesn't matter what tf he played when he wasn't with c9, its about the role he played while he was with c9 which eas mainly initiator flex. Unless marved can learn sova, breach and fade to a high level, his roles will overlap with vanity.
Why tf are you being down fragged??? Curry literally only played sova fade breach kayo and viper with c9. Maybe brim ONCE in a mickey mouse tourney, but otherwise he only played initiator.

Yeah he's OK, but crashies is widely believed and procen in lan as the best NA initiator. That's why some say he is necessary to form a super team.

And took g2 to 4th in m3 Berlin in just a couple of months, when the team was in tatters.
He's only been going downhill because all the pressure to perform is on him. He's hardly ever gone negative in all the games he has played. He was forced onto chamber when he has always been better on agents like jett and neon. He can now play primary duelist/flex now instead of the chamber and op role which he was never comfortable with anyways. alfa is still better by a bit, but it won't be for long.
Tl;dr leaf hasn't gotten worse ,he has been playing the wrong roles. Alfajer atill better but leaf will get better too.
The curse MEANT that the team split up... don't you get it? Champs 2nd place curse breaks teams apart look what happened to gambit after 2nd lace at champs. It is all scripted riot is controlling world events to create a the most legendary curse he esports world will ever see.
All franchise team need to take notes... getting second place at masters means you could fall off during champs or lcq period. But coming second place in champs... well if you do, then you can say goodbye to your org. After coming second place in champs, your org will fall apart and collapsing one way or another, perhaps forfeiting their franchise slot like what happened to gambit and optic. All teams have to do is lose at 3rd place in champs like DRX did in Istanbul.
Everyone seems to forget that leaf is actually a really good duelist player. His neon is really strong and he's been flexing onto agents like viper recently. Xeppa has a really good sage and is a solid kayo and fade player, his kayo is probably on the same level as asuna although i will admit he has underperformed on fade. Vanity showed he can frag out even as an igl during lcq by fragging and carrying on omen, and he did take c9 to champs 2021 within 3 months of being with them. Finally, c9 came third in the lcq while playing basically a 4v5 because curry was putting up abysmal numbers. It is safe to say that the core deserves to be there after considering all of this. Plus trent or eeiu can both play sova and fade to a high level, while also filling in the breach role on maps like haven or fracture. Also yay is yay, he will be an insane firepower upgrade for c9 no matter what happens. On paper, this is a super team.

C9 has been my favourite org in NA for a while now. If their fifth player is a good player, then I will say goodbye to the drx flair
