Intro
When I was first called up to TBK Esports, I felt like they were the only people willing to give me a real chance. Tisco and the players treated me like family, and I’ll always be extremely grateful for that. I did my best to provide the team with every resource possible and to prepare them for Valorant Challengers Brazil Relegations for the 2026 Season. Thankfully, we performed extremely well qualifying while only dropping two maps.
The Reality Behind the Scenes
It’s important to note that I had never spoken to the organization’s owner or CEO, not before, during, or after the event. He showed no presence or concern for us at any point. What truly held the team together was a group of dedicated people determined to earn a spot for the 2026 season.
Even after facing a TO ruling that prevented us from using two new players, we worked hard to adapt. We reached out to former players drz and fx, who stepped up to help us finish the run. Despite everything, every member of the roster remained respectful and focused on our shared goal.
Post Relegations
After relegations, the team took a short break from practice, since there was nothing scheduled until the VCT OFF//SEASON partnered event “BRAZA: Open Series by Elgin.”
Once practice resumed, the staff team (not the org) realized the current roster wasn’t the best long-term fit. All players were moved to a tryout status, a tough but fair decision, as we wanted to give everyone a genuine second chance.
After two weeks of trials:
A three-player core from the relegation roster was retained.
I (bzly) was picked up by ELEVATE as Assistant Coach, on good terms with the roster.
A final roster was decided about one week before the BRAZA roster lock.
Everything seemed fine. I even helped Tisco look for analyst trials to fill my former role.
However, communication with the organization remained unclear. We constantly heard things like:
“We might get bought by another org, we might give you the VCL spot, or we might continue if we get sponsors.”
The CEO never provided clarity or commitment to the staff or players.
BRAZA
At first, everything still seemed on track. Players kwn and hide joined the team, fully committing to TBK and the BRAZA tournament. They even dropped their other Tier 3 projects and didn’t play in the open qualifier, that’s how much they trusted the project.
Now, as I write this (October 23rd, 3:00 AM), I’ve just been told by Tisco in a private call that the organization owner decided to sell the org, meaning the roster no longer had a team or spot for 2026.
Thankfully, the BRAZA tournament slot belongs to the player core, so they can still compete under a different name. But this decision shattered the plans and efforts of everyone involved.
Worse, the org owner stated they would take legal action if the team used the TBK name or branding in any way, even though the players and staff were the ones who earned the results and the slot through their hard work, without pay or contracts.
This is deeply disrespectful, not only to the players and staff who dedicated themselves to this project, but also to the integrity of esports as a whole. I personally feel disrespected, even though I was fortunate to find another team. Others were left stranded after giving everything for a project that abandoned them.
The Financial Side, The Cherry on Top of the Cake
This is, without a doubt, one of the saddest parts to write about. Recently, I was informed of something that perfectly illustrates how unprofessional and disrespectful the organization’s behavior truly was.
The owner of TBK had promised the players 80% of the prize pool from “Challengers 2025: Brazil Gamers Club Split 2”, to be equally divided among the five players who competed during the relegations.
At first, everything seemed fine, the money was sent to the players as agreed. However, a few days later, the same owner contacted each player individually, claiming that he had made “wrong calculations” and asking them to send the money back.
Some players, out of goodwill, returned part of the money they still had, while others said they had already spent it and couldn’t give anything back.
It’s deeply disappointing to see an organization owner personally asking players, one by one, to return the money that was promised and already paid as their rightful prize.
Honestly, I’m at a loss for words. It’s the kind of situation that destroys trust and respect within the esports scene.
Final Message
At the very least, the players and staff deserve recognition or some form of compensation for their efforts. They achieved everything purely through passion and the dream of advancing their careers without any financial support or contractual protection.
If you’ve read this far, thank you for taking the time. I ask you to share this story around, because unfortunately, in esports, public awareness is often the only way to find accountability.
Thank you,
bzly

Never seen much of it but I feel like we have some different features from each other but the positive point many have shown interest on is how we do not use Overwolf making it almost not impact in the players performance
for sure we have
