See, players have never ever complained about playing more matches or more LANs. The issue is with Riot's stupid ass execution where they make losing team play back to back matches or start splits way too quickly after LANs. That is the only time players complain about burnout.

Having less matches actually stresses out players more. These are passionate gamers who love playing this game. It's not the practice or prep that hurts them it's that they have to stress much more about each game because if you just happen to have bad luck, you are fucked.

Riot and kids watch their first esports of life peddle the "burnout" bullshit. Riot does it because they don't wanna spend any money on Valorant.
