i don't know the story behind each team or why they are as bad as they are, but the results kinda speak for themself

the blast.tv austin major was the first cs tournament ive ever heard of or watched and i'll definitely be keeping my eye on cs tournaments from now on because it looked really interesting

last year th lost kickoff grand final, went 0-2 in madrid swiss, lost stage 1 grand finals, lost masters shanghai grand finals, lost in lower bracket finals in stage 2, and then lost champs grand finals. i genuinely dont think there's a run worse than that one by any team

MMadrid: 2-1 LOUD, 1-2 Gen G, 3-1 PRX, 3-2 Gen G
MSHanghai: missed s1 playoffs
CSeoul: 2-0 DRX, 1-2 EDG, 2-1 FNC, 1-2 TH
MBangkok: qual for swiss but missed playoffs
MToronto: 2-1 XLG, 0-2 PRX, 1-2 FNC

AMER: 1-0
EMEA: 1-2
APAC: 3-2
CN: 1-1
Trophies: 1

Although SEN is horrendous, they aren't CN farmers (in the playoffs), since they either lose to emea or completely miss the playoffs

probably going to be an incredibly close 3 game series regardless of who wins

i was keeping my eye on FPX a ton and it was really sad to see them go from bringing the #2 team to two different overtimes to not even making the playoffs in stage 1 :(

even with FNC being the only EMEA team in the playoffs, I still think that EMEA is better off than CN (at this very moment, incredibly subject to change) because FNC has always been a consistent team to rely on with teams like Heretics and Liquid that could catch fire and make a run. CN however recently had their biggest team implode from the inside out because of their roster and WOL is still on the rise. CN definitely has a lot of potential, with BLG being decent, but for now I think EMEA is better

i meant the state of the regions in general but i honestly agree with both of these rankings

i would love to see CN shine it's just really unfortunate that the stuff happened with EDG. Do you have any particular teams that you think I should keep an eye on for the region?

here's my list as someone who hasn't watched ANY of masters toronto

1- APAC: PRX seem actually impressively strong, as well as GenG minus the IGL tilting
2- EMEA: TH was disappointing and I wasn't expecting much from TL, but FNC look surprisingly strong and seem to be the only glimmer of hope in that region
3- NA: The dominance from SEN seems to be falling off and the only team that is replacing that in the slightest in G2 which were already pretty good
4- CN: WOL look incredibly strong but the rest of CN looks like shit especially after the edg drama

ok keep in mind that i havent watched toronto, i would love to hear how im incredibly misinformed
