Yes

You spend a lot of time on vlr I was expecting that you would be aware of this happening.

NGL but sentinels look strong they gonna win it all. (that's how most vlr takes are)

But jokes aside I'm curious about V1 with oderus but besides them I kinda wanna watch more matches to actually form an opinion.

Maps are bad when we can't play them or frag on them but when we start to frag and win on a map it becomes a good map. (though there really are some maps that are bad)

Sentinels can frag better than controllers but the thing is you can't win without smokes but can still win without a sentinel.

Apparently poiz is in C9A so will be fun to watch this match.

There's also YouTube viewership that is often neglected and there are a lot of people who watch the matches on YT in APAC.

Why bench anyone when the team is so good, they've only played VCT 3 and Masters and LCQ together so far and its not like they failed horribly. Sure there are times when a few players fail to perform but benching anyone right now would do them more loss than profit. IMO benching should not be the case but working on the team more with strats and synergy should be the goal of G2.

He also said in a post match interview that there's a lot he has to learn about agents so what we see might not even be his full potential, really curious and excited to see his career as we go further.

posted about 2 years ago

No he's not dropped, poiz is in the phase of being developed, as mentioned before they are working on his comms and since LCQ could probably be the last event for the team in this year they are sticking with people who have tournament experience. What C9 does post LCQ is not something that I know but he's a really good player to just drop.

You broke the world record

He literally played 1 map and its not like he bot fragged either. I don't understand what joy you find in putting bad name to someone who is already feeling responsible for the loss.

With the experience they got now I'm pretty sure we will see an improved VS. All this performance with no exposure was really good. From here they just grow. WP VS.

posted about 2 years ago

Given that it was their first international event and they did really well, this makes them even more exciting to watch in Champions. GG VS, you did really well. I'm sure they will be back with more power.

With Nuturn taking in Hyeoni I doubt he would be taken back in because it would either mean someone else needs to back off from the active roster or they would have to play with Lakia as sub/rotations the same way he does in VS now. However TNL esports could actually get him and TNL would actually be an amazing team. Only time will tell what happens but I don't think Lakia would be sent anywhere for now, after all one map doesn't mean he has no place on the team.

"Bad Luck"ia? Maybe he needed some warm-up that he couldn't get in the group stage.

There's FPS_Shaka as well getting around 35k views rn.

I just saw that lol, a costly mistake from vlr.

posted about 2 years ago

They played really well today not making many mistakes like last time.

With F4Q losing 3 matches, they are the first team to be eliminated and with that G2 and SEN qualify with G2 being the first EMEA team to qualify.

posted about 2 years ago

If it were a double elimination bracket in KR VCT we would see someone other than F4Q. No offense F4Q is good but KR has other serious and better teams that were pushed out.

They should take away your ability to shitpost and trashtalk instead.

I hope to see a winner other than Sentinels because that would make champions more speculative and fun to watch and hype because you'd know that there is someone else besides Sentinels that will give us an amazing champions. And if its to avoid multiple TSM threads then I I'd like someone outside NA to win :P

I remember watching a stream where the interviewer had a talk with mitch and kat and mitch mentioned that they are working on poiz's comms so when his comming gets better he will be on the active roster. For now he is only going to be as a substitute or might even play actively if he is ready.

Here is the link to the stream - https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1128302853

The point of qualifiers and playoffs is for teams, no matter how small or big they are, to prove themselves and take the spot. You can't complain its bad because "not so good" teams beat "big" teams. If a "big" team loses to a "not so good" then its just not enough effort from them. The team needs to get better not that the format needs to change.

I wish people would stop arguing over viewership of a "Major" to "regional games" of 2 games and just enjoy the games and support them instead.

posted about 2 years ago

its not because of underperformance but the duration of his contract, if its renewed then he stays

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like xeppa was brought in case floppy would not be able to adjust, but then again it could also be for a replacement if mitch's contract ends.

posted about 2 years ago

C9B got a lot of time to practice and by now floppy has also gotten used to the game so I'm expecting more than what we got from them. GO C9B!!

Fnatic came close to giving a challenge to sentinels, ofc couldn't beat them but that was the first EU vs NA we saw, if that match came close, think how it would go if Fnatic were to fight Sentinels again in Grand Finals. I wonder who makes it to the GF but imo Fnatic as a team might show a different result if we see the match happen again as every team has evolved and adapted in some way or the other.

posted about 3 years ago

With masters coming to close soon, we've seen change in metas and playstyles of many teams over the course of the tournament and how they've adapted and brought in changes. Do you think these changes will affect games in the home region of these teams and bring a very new and different change in how games are played and we would see a much different masters next time?

posted about 3 years ago

What I loved about C9 is how after such drastic roster changes they manage to get in upper/lower finals, the team needs synergy and practice among themselves and we might actually see another amazing team besides Sentinels and 100T (not saying other amazing teams are bad)
