These players are in a room practicing on their PCs for the majority of the day - also, Spanish is a very prevalent language in the US, especially in SoCal where there are a lot of hispanic people. US is very different from any country in Europe, if a player is from East Coast of the US then they are thousands of miles/km from home. So yes, I really did just compare that to players from SA because it's somewhat comparable.
