i appreciate that people want to have discussions about these things. i agree with everything you said, including me being a bit arrogant. but that wasn't the original point of my comment. i wasn't trying to encourage toxicity in the val community, nor was i trying to stop discussions from happening. i was just saying (almost in a sort of joking way, although if i say i was joking people will give me a hard time) that the community can be overly toxic sometimes. and yes, maybe my knight in shining armor comment was reminiscent of that point. but that's literally all i was trying to say.

interesting idea IMO. split is super CT-sided whereas a triple initiator comp is super T sided. so the logic behind it is probably "we have a good chance of winning the map if we can win T side split, and 3 initiators will help us to do that." of course, that also means their CT side is weaker. zero idea how it'll do vs international teams, tho.

^^^ I'll steal his explanation which I thought was really good, for those who were confused. Since 100T forced, they had no util to retake, and so the round was basically unwinnable. Losing their guns that round would mean an eco next round, which in turn would basically mean the game lost for 100T.
