i totally agree with you. every team has a different structure to their roster and the way they play. we will obviously see prx players high up in these results because their entire style is based up on how easily can they benefit over the util they have expended and the trades they get in doing so. they push a certain region with a lot of util and manpower and get a kill, if they fail to get a kill , they basically have failed the objective. and thus every time they get this kill, the resulting impact is high. however, for a team like fnatic, even if they dont get control of a certain region at first or get the first kill, they still can build up the round from a different part of their arsenal, they dont really have to rely on these "impactful" frags.

also, you are probably the smartest NA user i have seen on this site

yeah i obv didnt really mean the "goat" part of it, but he is a very solid player

all kills, this stat considers everything 1v5 to 5v1, so its a very well rounded statistics.

for example a kill at 5v5 -> 5v4 increases the probability of winning the round from 50% to 70%, so if a player, here for example cned, gets that kill, his impact is much more than if he got a kill in 1v5 -> 1v4, coz basically both situations(1v5 and 1v4) have less than 2% chance of leading to a round win

no hopium, we are just that better

https://youtu.be/FrLtJSpaSLI?si=qfmKZWdHFJG0Pjex&t=953

his kills increased the chances of NAVI winning a round by 382% on average.
(this basically means his kills were one of the most impactful in champs and tokyo)

unfortunately he didnt get the right environment to showcase this consistently enough.

(his team was busy pushing on defence, making cned's op just useless most of the time)

emea queens, show them how the best region in the world plays valorant

posted 4 months ago

keep crying, not a single player in this world can replace either chronicle or any other guy on this fnatic roster. i literally wont take anyone other than the 5 we have. keep crying with those 0 trophies you have.

great video, highlighting a lot of wonderful moments in their journey

also a very nice and underrated channel, has some seriously good valorant highlights and compilations

you cant fairly compare if you are just going to be cherry picking.

posted 5 months ago

january to august ~8 months 6 days a week, played every single match possible right until champs, thats burnout. eg got out early at lock in (and americas too )

posted 5 months ago

leo owns that, pipe down kid

posted 5 months ago

just coz a story is better doesnt make that achievement in itself greater. yeah, sure give them the sympathy story Cinderella bullshit award of the year for all i care

posted 5 months ago

? so lock in, americas and shit dont exist?

posted 5 months ago

they literally did draws, what are you on lil bro. stop creating your own realities

posted 5 months ago

cook that fraud

posted 5 months ago

sub 60 winrate is a bit surprising

especially split with 38% when they played 13 times

posted 5 months ago

also if we do maps, EG just falls down to hell.

fnatic not only didnt lose much, they probably lost only a bit more maps than eg lost series

posted 5 months ago

and especially for fnatic because winning 3 tournaments in a row is something just too tough. you cant avoid things like exhaustion and burnout

posted 5 months ago

zip it up when you are done

posted 5 months ago

yeah 3 trophies for fnatic

posted 5 months ago

fnatic had a peak this year which was better than any team ever in history of valorant, added to that is the fact that they won two trophies.

sliggy, one of the most knowledgable analysts literally said at the start of masters tokyo that they have been the best team in history of the game, and i think that should be enough to solidify that.

ask 100 analysts this question, and guaranteed 98/100 will say fnatic. the remaining 2 being sean gares and probably some other unapologetically biased NA analyst

fucking hell, not prx fans talking about choking

posted 5 months ago

i am excited for KC and GIANTS honestly. giants is also one of the only team with the same core since franchising started. they are bound to have better synergy too this year

posted 5 months ago

i was talking about how the 2023 koi was expected to be somewhere equal to how nrg was this year.
(they were supposed to be top 3-4 emea team, atleast that was our expectations)

and koi for next year ie 2024 doesnt look the best on paper

posted 5 months ago

lets see, all of this could have been said for most of the teams last year, but it didnt turn out very well.
i hope

posted 5 months ago

liquid is a premier organization. if at the start of the year they arent even good enough "on paper" for #2 (should be #1, but since they have fnatic), then yeah there is a problem

posted 5 months ago

another year of the goat having to settle for mediocrity :(
hope i am wrong

posted 5 months ago

NA hasnt had any actual lan events, so i'll put them 2nd to last just above emea

I am an emea fan but all emea has given me in the past 2 seasons is disappointment.

FUT has done well, to come from a "not top 10" emea team to top 8 globally. expect atleast a top 4 emea team performance next year too.
NAVI and FNATIC have stayed consistent. (navi did really well at champs but got unlucky)

but all the rest of emea has done is served me disappointment.

  1. KOI was supposed to be atleast NRG level, they shit the bed entire year.
  2. HERETICS created two weak rosters in two years. i had little hope for them for 2024, but that red bull tourney didnt sell me much
  3. TEAM LIQUID is the goat at when it comes to disappointing. 2023 disappointed me so much. peaked at the worst possible time. their rosters have always looked good on paper, but thats all. with how apeks choked ascension, i just cant help but think about how much of chokers can they turn out to be
  4. BBL have such a big fan base behind them, but they have been disappointing since forever. sometimes i wished bbl and fut were switched, so that the fut team can get the huge fan following they deserve
  5. GIANTS, name is giants, are actually like me, bang average. hope they can do better this year. i hope they can succesfully utilize the potential of the two of my top 10 emea players cloud and nukkye
  6. KARMINE CORP, honestly everyone sort of knew they were going to be the troll team last year. but this year, i honestly have so high hopes from them. the roster looks very good, and i somehow have a lot of faith in narrate. they have enghh obviously, so that makes them a bit more reliant, hopefully magnum can do good on this new igl role.
  7. TEAM VITALITY. honestly that roster doesnt look very good to me. sayf is obviously good, but again it is so reliant on how the two rookies perform. destrian aint the biggest fragger and with sayf now not on duelist, it will really be tough to see.
  8. GENTLE MATES. hopefully they can do what fut did in 2023 after winning the ascension last year. not changing the roster going from challengers to the league is a big move. but honestly dont think they can do better than a top 5 finish in emea at best

again i can be hopeful of all these emea teams, like how i have been since the past 2 seasons. but all emea has done with these good "on-paper" rosters is sell me dreams that were never fulfilled. i have given most of the hope, so if any surprises do happen, they'll be good to watch.

true, but what also is true that demon1 aint that guy

posted 5 months ago

demon1 can play smoke is just a way of saying he cant play raze

posted 5 months ago

yeah the team that lost 3 maps in two international events had a lower peak than eg? yeah sure bud

posted 5 months ago

you are the one crying here

posted 5 months ago

that still is a better investment than whatever your parents have wasted to function your existence.

posted 5 months ago

this.i agree with this so much. what derke and aspas can do is far far more than either of yay or demon1

but i just cant tolerate when someone puts demon1 ahead of a player like yay.

posted 5 months ago

bro you seriously lack some valorant brain. so i'll put some knowledge into it.

yay's peak involves being 2nd at champs and a masters trophy.
demon1 has had 1 good tournament, yay at the very least has had 3 good ones.
no. of tournaments yay has missed = no. of tournaments demon1 has attended in his whole career. put some respect on his name.
also i am the furthest thing from a yay / optic core fan. i am very unbiased when comparing two NA players, because of my inherent hate for NA.

peak yay had me wishing that the team i root for doesnt meet optic. while the last thing i think about when against EG is worry about demon1. that guy doesnt make me scared. think fnatic can win 3-0 in a bo5 against eg with leo with covid, boaster on jett and derke with hair

posted 5 months ago

alfa and leo are way ahead in the race for best player of 2023. demon1 is just so talked about because of the recency bias and the inherent bandwagon nature of valorant fans

posted 5 months ago

yeah and comparing that prime yay had, to anything demon1 has reached is laughable at best

prime marved aint as scary
