After watching this game against EG, SEN is officially washed. Not winning anything else this year

I'm looking at the odds and like 9.35 is really good might bet on KOI.

PRX does have a lot of chokes but they're undoubtedly one of if not the best team mechanics-wise. With Jing back and slowly getting back into form they can definitely win it. NRG's still developing, SEN is kinda at their ceiling, EMEA is just terrible rn and GENG is good but doesn't have as much potential as PRX. Monyet was terrible at Masters, went negative every series, and had bad FK/FD ratios. PRX vs an NA team at Masters finals and they get the job done imo.

Masters Shanghai-APAC
PRX wins first trophy for APAC and Jing gets his fairytale ending.

Champs-AMERICAS
NRG get in shape at the best possible time and win it all, cementing demon1 as the GOAT duelist along with aspas.

C9 is genuinely so dogshit and LEV omg they even worse somehow.

I can't speak for other people I'm just a guy that enjoys valorant and have felt the NRG hate, especially Demon1 hate is unwarranted hence my thread. Why is NRG so shit on? Why do some people genuinely act like this team isnt a top 3 team and imo a top 2 in Americas.

They got both pistols plus some defuse sticks, when it came to gun rounds they got run down. That map shouldn't have been close but yeah NRG imo is gonna look scary when Playoffs roll in.

You gonna comment on anything I said or just hurl insults?

Don't know why I've seen all this hate towards NRG like they not going to be a top 2 Americas team.
Demon1 had a bad series and Ethans new as an igl.
Roster is new and needed time to create synergy and mesh hence losing to SEN.
They will finish top 2 in Americas.
Loud is decent but don't see how they can improve and just seem like a mid team, in restrospect to other teams with more potential.
LEV is never going to be better then NRG they got internal issues with tex and aspas, plus communication issues.

Yeah this is just beyond braindead icl, NRG has 2 champs winners, one of the best duelists in the game (demon1), ethan whos a top 5 iniator and then some of the optic core that dominated NA. They genuinely had just formed and you could see if you watched any of there matches that they were winning not really because of good team play but individual talent. With these guys being so competitive and used to being at the top they are going to come back very scary and could take the #1 spot from SEN. I do see LEV coming back stronger but there's internal issues with that org over whos playing. From my memories aspas wanted someone to play instead of tex and the language barrier can def affect them. Don't see a world where LEV is better then NRG unless something really bad happens.

Zekkens jett is weak, his average rating is 0.98 compared to 1.20 on raze, his FK/FD ratio is also much worse. This is somewhat due too jett being playing on SEN's objectively worse maps but yeah he can def improve on jett.

In what world is NRG losing to 100thieves

I know this might sound crazy after them winning masters but hear me out.

  1. zekken clearly is the best raze in the world and is miles ahead of everyone else but we can all agree his jett is weak and can def improve on that.
  2. Sacy although is a world class initiator and is one of if not the best util wise can def be better at winning his duels and overall mechs. I've seen a lot of times him just not hitting shots when I was watching SEN play.
  3. Johnqt has said they could've played better and he himself could too. He was also fasting which likely had somewhat of a dip in his overall energy when he was playing can't imagine playing a 5 game series on a empty stomach.
  4. Tenz is a great omen/controller but can improve on his initiator throughout the year.
  5. Zellsis I think needs doesn't: have a crazy big thing to improve on, good glue player but just improving everywhere to keep up with these crazy good guys.
As a whole SEN is very weak on maps like breeze and icebox, and ascent is kinda a coinflip when they play it. Icebox and Breeze being these jett maps where zekken does struggle. All 3 can be improved as a whole and we did see quite a dip in SENs retake percentage after Americas for a lot of maps including Split. Improving map pool and building on existing strength on maps is necessary as teams will be paying even more attention to them now.
I and most people who watched pretty much every series of Masters can agree that GenG was the better team going into the grand finals and just didn't really convert it due to choking and pressure issues. SEN doesn't mald under pressure which is great and makes them good contenders for Champs this year but need to improve on this stuff I mentioned to win Champs.
NRG is in my opinion going to be looking great in these playoffs and could possibly take the #1 if SEN doesn't keep up and improve. They could've beat SEN in there match but couldn't due too
very obvious synergy issues. Granted SEN is not the same team they were when they were playing NRG but NRG will have a chip on their shoulder and I'm concerned for how SEN will be able to keep #1 in Americas position.

Average EU fans lmao, so you saw these guys achieve their dreams and immediately were so outraged that you decided to create an entire thread to discredit it and argue with people. You seem very popular lmao. Kick Off does not have to be double elimination. If your team is good enough you should win your games and qualify, if you can't you don't deserve to be there for masters. Masters is much more serious and more is at stake hence the double elimination. Just because your favs didn't qual doesn't make the entire thing fraudulent. Best teams qualed and showed out. FNC is washed and needed a revamp, evident by them almost losing to C9 lmao in the offseason. Navi is just ass, ardis being a fraud. NRG is a great team but still new and it was evident in there matches they didn't quite have the synergy down. LEV is just never going to go anywhere. Other then that APAC really doesn't have any other good teams and China was never going to go deep in this tourney.
