It's pretty easy to tell that the girls (emphasis on S) are just magnified bait for waifu fans. Despite this occurring in 99% of other romance anime/manga, this one just stands out to me as annoying because you can tell the only reason they made 5 girls that look the same instead of one is to give them different personalities so that the characters had more appeal to more audiences.
(eg shy girl attracts shy girl fans, tsundere attracts tsundere fans) et cetera
It feels like all of the girls are just disguised advertisements for the show, "one show fits all waifu fans" looking ass story trying to bait fans with women instead of gaining fans with a good story (Which it does eventually get)
