  They have to figure out all that in 2 months before the kick off event if they started now and the biggest concern is they might end up like SEN last year they had roughly 1 months before lock in and they lost then another months before the regular season then they started playing matches every week and there was no time to improve their teamplay instead of preparing for the match itself (roster changes also) and you can't just take the best 5 players in the region and put them together and say it's GUARANTEED to succeed nothing is GUARANTEED
  another thing might happen is they start weak and improve day after day to be the best when champs starts

DRX played 2 very good off season tourneys against great teams and tried both rosters in those 2 tournaments and went with the better roster you can never know why they chose the new guys but you can tell they had the idea for a long time

I agree with you that the main reason for 100T downfall was meta changes and sean gares departure and i don't think that would happen with SEN because they have better and more experienced players in my opinion and they are very flexible

But also do you know why i think SEN is better here's some facts from AVL:

1. in the grand finals they won 5/6 pistols and the one they lost they won the eco round next
2. they almost always close out round you rarely see someone clutch against them
3. they can win rounds when they are down in numbers
4. they make comebacks (they rarely did before)
5. im not sure but they maybe the team with most thrifties in the tournament
6. the tournament was not easy team at all we are talking EDG, PRX, DRX, Liquid, T1 don't tell me they were expected to win it

where are T1 NA teams now ?
most of them don't have a full roster besides C9 and even if they do a new roster won't be as good as PRX or DRX yet

i agree with most of it. all i'm saying is SEN are now better than ever but it still not a GUARANTEE for success in the actual seaon but it's a guarantee they will do better than last season at least and that's enough for a SEN fan

as a SEN fan i still don't expect the team to win everything this year that's not realistic but at least it says we are improving
and 100T when they won RB homeground they weren't coming from a season with 0-5 and early elimination from lcq like SEN but they were an established team who won lcq and went to champions and beat fnatic there
but if your point is that winning this doesn't guarentee winning in the season then we agree but still it's a reason to celebrate

   If you think this is just an off season tournament and it doesn't matter let me remind you that SEN lost the only off season tournament they played last year (tarik x ludwig) SEN sucked at everything thing even off season tournaments now they beat prx twice
