"you guys do a mid noise to your favorite team and when NRG wins a round its a library"

wasn't it the same, all LOUD fans were quiet when FNc made a comeback at LOCK//IN?

posted 7 months ago

dats true

boaster can't do shit on his odin

i love fnatic, but it's just so funny seeing all these people mad

THE NOOB IS THE ONE THAT CAN'T COUNTER THE ODIN!

NRG bans: Ascent, Haven. (or Sunset)

Likely order (NRG maximizes early edge): Abyss (NRG favored) → Lotus (NRG lean) → Corrode (NRG lean) → Bind (even/slight FNC) → Sunset (lean NRG) if needed.

NRG 3-1

NRG had one more day to prepare
NRG just stomped FNC on Abyss (2-0)
NRG has double map ban advantage

GG FNC

posted 7 months ago

they won't ban bind. both teams are strong on it

nvm LOL

posted 7 months ago

PRX's best map is still Bind.

posted 7 months ago

PRX (8-2) – still cracked. only L was that FNC Lotus choke (they were up 9-1). bounced back vs TH. something’s entries still carrying tempo + f0rsakeN.

DRX (6-4) – up and down. popped G2 and TL with Waylay/Yoru, but also dropped to NRG and needed OT vs MIBR. flashback can cook but team still shaky late-rounds.

Recent: PRX beat DRX 3-1 in EWC quals (May). PRX def has the edge.

Key players:

  • PRX – something (entry, when he goes off it's gg)
  • DRX – flashback (entry duels = wincon, needs to show up early)

Maps:

  • DRX ban Sunset (standard vs PRX; note they may “break-glass” float it, but risky).
  • PRX ban Abyss (DRX’s best).
  • PRX pick Bind (signature comfort) → PRX favored.
  • DRX pick Ascent (next-best) → close; PRX even it with info control mid.
  • Last bans: DRX likely trim Lotus; PRX trim Haven/Corrode.
  • Decider: Lotus (PRX strong) or Corrode (closer, still manageable).

Leans: Bind → PRX heavy; Lotus → PRX favored; Ascent → skill match, DRX best shot.

Overall: PRX just more solid. if they get early picks + flood like usual, they prob win 2-1. DRX can def upset if they get pistol/bonuses or flashback drops 70+, but safer pick is PRX rn.

posted 7 months ago

PRX (8-2) – Dominated most teams, only L was a late choke vs FNC on Lotus. Still look sharp: early fights, mid-rounds, and something's entries = space.

Heretics (7-3) – Can beat (G2/T1), but super volatile (lost to BBL/MIBR). Good prep team + get 1 extra day. Inconsistent though.

No recent H2H (only PRX 2-0 TH at Toronto – low value + some more way back).

Key players:

  • PRX: something – drives tempo, cracks sites
  • TH: MiniBoo – big first-blood threat

Map lean:

  • Lotus → PRX favored
  • Corrode → TH win con
  • Ascent → 50/50 (depends if PRX gets entry value)

PRX still safer pick – Alecks owned the FNC loss, said fixes are coming. If PRX convert 5v4s + control tempo, they edge it 2-1. But TH can def steal it if they hit their prep.

I just can't imagine G2 bombing out first in champs.

G2’s pressure handling, leaf’s impact, and team identity make them the safer pick. DRX have a shot if Haven connects and pistols snowball—but without that...

expecting 2–0 or 2–1 for G2.

posted 7 months ago

PRX just officially signed "mini" as assistant coach, he’s in Paris with them, coaching alongside Alecks, and after 3 years with Fnatic, he knows exactly how Boaster, Chronicle, and Alfajer think. massive edge for PRX.

NRG looking really really solid for sure

I miss Gen.G.

G2 looking real solid rn, they just got hella unlucky with their group + playoffs draw

posted 7 months ago

at what point did any G2/PRX player trash talk each other?

complete bs & cope

how'd u know i'm 15 n i like thugger 😭✌️

  1. G2 & PRX Players are really good friends.

Anyway, my point is, the fans always talk shit the most.

posted 7 months ago

ironic how the fans are always the most toxic, not even the teams themselves.

"On a good day"...

What if Paper Rex has a good day then?

If they both play in their current form, Paper Rex should win + take my points in consideration, PRX had 5 more days to prepare, has more VOD to review, etc.

holon

Paper Rex - Had 5 more days to prepare.
Paper Rex - Has more VOD to review, since G2 played one match more than PRX in champs so far.
Paper Rex - Hold most recent H2H (2-0, Toronto)
Paper Rex/G2 - Both are in top form, i'd favor Paper Rex though. Since something is insane right now.

Maps: G2's best map is arguably Lotus. Paper Rex is also really good on Lotus. If G2 wins a map, it's probably Lotus.

PRX 2-1

(I love both teams <3)

Just get a performance coach, fix your strats, get ur shit together.

no urgent roster changes needed

Well, one unlucky match sends them into lower bracket

posted 8 months ago

GX looks really solid rn.

GX was the only team recently that was able to kinda push PRX. (besides the ZETA upset)

posted 8 months ago

well... G2 has to win this, otherwise they're out of champs

i feel like narrate relies on momentum a lot

You can see, he's getting really easy tilted & emotional. Impacts his consistency.

nAts would be a nightmare for them

Gen.G, T1?

XLG losing this will put them into Tier 2 btw

i'm sayin

EDG couldn't even close out their maps vs NRG

(11-2 lead on abyss)

EDG admitted themselves, they can't close maps out.

couldn't even close out vs. NRG

posted 8 months ago

fnatic actually look alive again lol, abyss vs rrq was super clean.

probs best map debut so far. retakes still cracked.

mibr beating blg was mostly aspas + verno going nuclear, still not sold on them long-term. if fnatic take bind or keep it close, should be a comfy 2-0.

maybe FNC 2-1 if mibr steal bind.

posted 8 months ago

GX had enough fun, pls PRX humble them

posted 8 months ago

BLG bans abyss then, BLG has a way better map pool anyway + momentum off winning CN Stage 2

posted 8 months ago

people seem to ignore the fact that icebox got removed, one of MIBR's only good map lol

every opponent usually bans icebox vs. MIBR, MIBR might be done for with this new map pool lol

posted 8 months ago

will be a banger match for sure, can't wait

posted 8 months ago

G2 coming hot with a win streak and leaf popping off.

Veto gives them Ascent, with Haven as Heretics’ best shot. Heretics got LAN experience and prep, but they’ve looked shaky lately and avoid Sunset, which might just be a comfy decider for G2. If G2 don’t troll early rounds and lock down post-plants, this feels like a clean 2-0 or chill 2-1.

Heretics need a banger Haven and something wild on Abyss. Still feels G2-favored overall.

posted 8 months ago

13-6 and under on map 3 i'd consider clean lmao

posted 8 months ago

Liquid's in form after their EMEA run.

stable roles, Sunset comfort, and solid structure.

DRX can swing Corrode, but unless they force Abyss, this leans Liquid.

If keiko gets space and nAts roams free, it’s likely a 2-0 or clean 2-1.
