god it sucks but also there’s sm talent in turkey that you can find substitutes for the time being (Xeus for Comeback is the most obvious but replacing Loita and Lar0k seems impossible

posted 11 months ago

Insane LEV hater but his Statpas claims kinda based. This is very funny

posted 11 months ago

lookin like prime cNed out there

posted 11 months ago

she’s not as strong but it’s cus she’s not on duelist anymore

posted 11 months ago

Reduxx is too young to play in vct yall

posted 11 months ago

they pull a bleed and replace the 3 (which sucks but is what it is)

posted 11 months ago

casters mentioned lar0k was 16 i think

u have 2454 posts in 5 months, 16 posts a day consistently

and in Bob’s message she said they broke up around June so yeah it’s probably confirmed at this point Keznit was talking to Kat during her relationship with Bob :(

posted 11 months ago

feel bad for Bob :(

posted 11 months ago

I’d say G2 5th just for the fact they are the only truly successful ascension team, and they were also the only team in the entire event to beat EDG (although it didn’t end up mattering)

posted 11 months ago

i think this is the most balanced year, i do think EG winning on home soil was so special and FNC almost completing a dynasty was incredible. As an APAC fan and VCT CN

posted 11 months ago

Every international a different region lifting the trophy, Tier 2 talent flourishing, regions blowing up, so incredible to witness this phenomenal year and I cannot wait to see how this growth changes the scene. Kangkang’s speech deadass made me cry, he was incredible.

posted 11 months ago

he got them out of group stage single handedly

posted 11 months ago

nope. RyanCentral was my GOAT for constraining all this year i need a new VCT CN cast

posted 11 months ago

PLEASE MAN ITS SO DIFFICULT ONLY WATCHING COSTREAMS

posted 11 months ago

i’m so happy for them man, i was hoping for G2 but this is phenomenal. So glad every team has lifted a trophy now. This is truly the new era of valorant

posted 11 months ago

i think so tbh, atmosphere, crowd, teams, just incredible

posted 11 months ago

he’s def talented that’s undeniable, i personally don’t fw him cuz of the vibes he gives off and def don’t fw him after the whole Bob/Katsumi situation but it’s crazy to say he’s not one of the best duelists in NA.

posted 11 months ago

brother doesn’t even remember who EDG actually faced and is talking shit. They played PRX not fut silly, and it will be close but i’m guessing EDG 3-1

posted 11 months ago

This teams focus on tier two is so good, hopefully NA commits to more teams like this next year (psst c9 psst EG) like it’s so crazy how good they are. Plus they’re all like super nice and good people so it’s so easy to root for them. Still hoping for EDG so all regions will have a trophy but it’d be slay regardless

The top three teams all exemplify the three styles of Valorant teams you should be looking to copy.

EDG: Strong core and rookie players

Maintaining their team with little to no change for nearly 3 years was seemingly their downfall, but with changing up Haodong for S1Mon and moving him into a coaching position you can feel the synergy between the team is just on another level (it also helps that S1Mon is pretty cracked himself). Teams like SEN should be looking to emulate this instead of dropping everyone.

LEV: The closest thing to a superteam we’ve got left

People said this team would flounder and boy they fucking did, but now they are in a prime position to lift the trophy alongside TH and EDG. Aspas is the greatest player in the world, no doubt, and he finally seems to be having the parts around him synergize too. C0m specifically had turned the fuck up this champions in a way we have not seen since LA last year. This team collected the greatest components from a myriad of teams and formed a cohesive roster that, while it took a while, shaped up to be americas best.

Heretic: Investing in Tier 2

imho this is the best option out of the three. Heretics were #10 last year, looking abysmal, and what did they do? Gut the entire project? Not exactly. They kept Boo (who has only gotten better and better) and paired him with a cracked duelist who also happened to be his younger brother, kept Benjy after his single showing in LCQ last year and his time in Enterprise, and let Weber and Neilzinho say fuck it we ball. Wo0t, Riens, PatiTek, Miniboo all have shown the prowess of T2 and how if you invest in it (LOOKING AT U LEO FARIA) the game will only grow and grow

posted 11 months ago

100%. still crazy to think this team was literally 10th last year. Just goes to show what good scouting can do

posted 11 months ago

my brother in christ what does this mean

posted 11 months ago

he was the ONLY member of SEN that performed last year at all, carried XSET when Cryo was having an off day, and he’s the youngest player on the team. imo he’s NA’s strongest flex player rn

posted 11 months ago

dude is a once in a lifetime talent in this game; been supporting him ever since XSET and he’s always so close to greatness in champs; but just couldn’t bring it across the line. N4RRATE + Verno with TenZ and JohnQT next year tho and this shit is over for the rest of the world

posted 11 months ago

ur team didn’t even make ascension playoffs LMAOOO

posted 11 months ago

not rly, you can still shoot and all that

posted 11 months ago

c0m still highest earner tho

posted 11 months ago

i guess that’s what we will have to wait and see, imo i think it would be great if instead of the ascension team fighting the ascended team they picked the bottom placing team (like Mibr) and did the same thing, cus otherwise honestly i think it would be hard for other teams to ascend after a while, I mean maybe groups like DZ and OXG could’ve and it might encourage T2 to improve but it’s hard to say

posted 11 months ago

they automatically descend from T1 if they don’t make playoffs, so for instance BLEED and M8 would have been knocked down to tier 2 this year

posted 11 months ago

Vyse is such a sick name i hope they’re good

posted 11 months ago

It depends, not for this year at least but say if M80 places 8th next year and DZ wins ascension; they would have to play for that spot and if M80 won then yeah no one that year would qualify

posted 11 months ago

yup he played for Vikings with Saadhak and sutecas

posted 11 months ago

DRX simply cannot get higher than 5-6th. nt to the team though they showed tf up and looked incredible and exploited heretics’ shakiness. TH are just monsters in closing shit out. should be a fun LR3 with SEN and TH

posted 11 months ago

Cuz of last years high prize pool for EG and that maintaining into this year and with a guaranteed 250,000 isn’t it like set in stone he will be the highest earner in VCT history?

posted 11 months ago

i think he’s forever cursed to hate china cuz of what he said in that 2023 interview. This is why Potter is my goat

posted 11 months ago

Man EDG have leveled up so drastically, SEN def fucked up on Lotus not winning that map but also EDG haven’t lost it this champs. Honestly really hype for the team and hope EDG can at least make grands, i’m sure SEN can pull back in lowers but it’ll be hard especially going against FNC haven. Hope next game is as much of a banger (Leviatan will win 2-1)

posted 11 months ago

I think it will be incredibly difficult for EDG to win, but Lev definitely can if they’re online. SEN haven’t dropped a map since they dropped the Deadlock comps, and with them debuting Neon teams will have no clue what they’ll select

posted 11 months ago

cuz the billionaire funding them didn’t actually care and probably realized he was just losing money and chose to pull out and cut his losses cuz he didn’t actually care about esports, just about making money and teams.

posted 11 months ago

to be fair TGRD is equally to blame for droppping them after a successful year for no reason other than billionaire got bored

posted 11 months ago

tbf that shouldn’t have been the case they were run by a fucking billionaire Kroenicke was just a moron

posted 11 months ago

sometimes it’s just not their game, FNC played way better and i just am sad it wasn’t a closer game, I wanted map 3 but massive props to Chronicle and Derke (also idk why G2 chose to ban abyss and not haven when they’ve been pretty mediocre at it and i honestly think they would’ve had a better shot at Abyss)

posted 11 months ago

I think Icy has really proved himself but if they get N4RRATE idk any team that could beat them

posted 11 months ago

and then had a massive crumble, and lost their star duelist in Sayaplayer. I mean a lot of people lost hope for them after their inability to qualify to Champs 2022 over 100T

posted 11 months ago

tbf ur regions top team is also comprised of T2 players from last year so all the regions are T2 (even DRX).

posted 11 months ago

100%. If the OXG members and DZ members don’t get picked up there’s something fucked with NA orgs (Verno and Skuba NEED to be in T1

posted 11 months ago

bro i was giving props to ur team no need to be an arse abt it

posted 11 months ago

oh for sure, but that shouldn’t detract from their progress this year becoming a top 3 NA team and at points the best in Americas. Like i’m sure M80 will do similar things next year, but it clearly shows the NA T2 system has incredible talent and riot should pay way more attention to it (i mean even N4RRATE, Rossy, and Governor were T2 NA last year and both made internationals)

posted 11 months ago

for sure, i was gonna be happy if they were like top 5 but doing this good is insane first year of franchising especially with icy who has been a relatively quiet player
