1) Demon1 (ungodly and godlike at the same time mechanics, flexed smoke and still smoked everyone over a huge sample of games in the most important and competitive tourney of the year, OP diff'd the guy whose personality was OP and still has 40+% while still OP'ing when his team needs him to)
2) Less (Less is that guy, when he's on, there's no team that he can't just run over and aim diff everyone left, right centre up spatiotemporally)
2) Leo ( highest rated player of the year, immaculate gamesense and utility usage and mechanics that are not relatively subpar in his array of skills, undying, the only player that has been rated on VLR under the best 4 players for every VCT year (2021-2023), inhumane consistency )
2) Alfa (he can just aim diff anyone and everyone, the site he defends usually end up becoming a graveyard, not a stretch to say he was the best player overall this year)
5) Aspas (best duelist of all time, to have ever graced the VCT scene, do i even need to say anything, other than I can see why he was accused of cheating in CSGO, that raw talent simply translated I guess)
6) Ethan (another CSGO talent, his talent also transferred, his assists and supporting is godly, like yay said no one even comes close to his support, his mechanics also garnered glowing praise from nukkye in his streams before ethan even was famous as he is now)
7) Mako (the only controller who's really in the top 10-15 stats list of everyone, self-explanatory)
8) something (not the best tournament he had but in terms of potential i have him incredibly high)
8) zmjjkk (same as above, most OP kills, ridiculous awper, he has displayed his skill ceiling)
8) sayf (hot take but idgaf, his regional performance and his past performance with GUILD, his mechanics, I have seen enough to place him he)

are also not snubbed though, just that I am skeptical of some who ride on the coattail of their teammates and benevolent
to those who are let down by their team, some of them are really close to each other in pure skills and thus validly interchangeable in any
order you prefer depending on your mood criteria form horniness whatever the fuck
1> Demon1 - Listen, I hate recency glaze just as much as the next sensible guy. But I'm gonna have to go out on a limb and put Demon1 as the best player in the world anyhow. It's not just the fact that he earned his ridiculous stats on such a massive sample size of games, but he did it while flexing smokes and shit, proving himself the best rifler on the planet with his CS f0rsaken-esque headshot %. In the meantime, he casually OP diff'd the guy who had made OP his whole personality like it was just any regular day, and he "doesn't even like the OP." I am a massive stats skeptic but seeing this guy with my own eyes convinced me of his godlike and ungodly at the same time
mechanics.

Please, guys. I'm serious. I can't get the hype of derke. I tried really hard to change my impression since FNC is the only EMEA team I like. But this derke seems to be programmed by God to get diffed by a new up and coming duelist every new international tournament. Like this guy is the gatekeeper of tier 1 world-class duelist, if this was a video game, you'd earn the title of a tier 1 world-class duelist just by diffing derke. This guy also got used as a prostitute by Cryo.
He performs really well every 5 match and when he does, everyone gets down on their knees and eclipse the other teammates who are more consistent and better.
Are we going to ignore Derke for Leo? Leo didn't perform as badly as Chronicle and Derke. This is just biased.

As we all know, Shitmea has been a waste of extra slots. We lost out on higher quality viewing experience because Shitmea had that one team which drained the talent pool in the entire Shitmea dry. They win and also earn for their region a slot for some dumb team that would get destroyed by any tier 3 team in NA.
Sentinels and 100T > NAVI and LIQUID, the best teams after FNC in Shitmea.
Just divide the undeserved Shitmea spots between the other regions.

It's clear that the only reason FNC was ahead of others was because they simply happened to find their groove and structure faster than the rest. Sometimes these things happen. The other teams were also experimenting because they didn't really care that much about masters, Champions with its unprecedented prize pool is where it's at!
Now that every team has instantiated the greater portion of their potential, evening out with FNC, FNC have been exposed for the frauds they are.
Obviously LOCK/IN doesn't count no matter how much you want FNC to be the first winners of two events in a row.
Tokyo, admittedly, was more legitimate. However, FNC barley icked out against EG with their map advantage. Barely won. Now everyone can see their real level, they can respond realistically or cope as copers cope.

I love FNC to death and life and death again but idk how to feel about EMEA as a whole. I think NA teams in general are better outside FNC and even other regions have at least 2 teams that are really good.
I think by the end of the tournament EMEA will be at best on the level of other regions (except FN) if not worse.
