I heard of the exact opposite: often defensive players are being told to gain weight because it gives them the upper hand against less heavy opponents which is just unhealthy. I read it in an article in the new york times a while back I think.

what do you mean by most important but i agree with you with the division of labor but the coordination imo isnt much more important/better than it is in other team sports it only has a higher ceiling of coordination because of the amount of pauses etc

yes but i said in AF in general not in the NFL. And because of the breaks etc for me it never seemed so exhausting idk like i said i also dont have that much knowledge of AF but the body types seem extremely diverse

Please stop saying football is objectively the best when there is legit no way to really prove the objectively "best sport" there are just too many variables to take in account

well you could also be overweight and play in the nfl as a doesnt have anything to do with athleticism of course some positions require different bodytypes and abilities but still look at rugby there I would say the players need an overall more athletic body for example its also extremely physical the need to be fast, jump etc.

strategy and gameplan maybe but no way you believe AF is the best sport in terms of physicality and Athleticism you legit dont need to be athletic to play the game on a rather high level from what ive seen
edit: i have to say im not too experienced in AF but it also doesnt seem too hard to score a touchdown of course it depends on your opponents but idk
