that sucks, wish I could've tried it before that. there was a tim horton's near where I was on vacation in the US but I doubt it'd be up to the standard of a Canadian one

I was going through stats and didn't see that f0rsaken and Less barely played the agents, they have better stats but it's so minimally played that you're right. edited it

Is Austin as alienated from the rest of Texas as people say?
To follow up, do you think Austin is going to become the next LA/New York cost wise and grow rapidly. I see a lot of people moving there, so another follow up, is it nice and would you recommend moving to Austin?

not wrong. wo0t got picked up at 17 and can't play, the team is taking a massive risk by having to wait until he turns 18 because they know how valuable he is. not many organizations are willing to take that risk and put that much money in as you need 6 players (or you can use coach and risk losing your initial matches) to be able to swap him in once he is of age.

alexiiik only started a couple months before benjy, not an excuse
we'll see if heretics cooked or not but I am not a fan of the move and don't think it will end well, you can say they "see his potential" but this has happened before and not worked out. Heretics has a history of making weird/bad moves lol

posted about a year ago

runneR will be great, benjy is not a good option for a t2 player going into t1. you literally said if benjy is a fraud put all T2 players in, benjy is not top tier t2. he's mid at best. only reason alexiiik wasn't picked up is because he is 17. wait a year and everyone will want him.

posted about a year ago

benjy was really just ok in t2, severely overrated. this is FRANCHISING fraudwatch, if he was just OK in t2 I doubt he'll do well in T1. he's on fraud WATCH, he could be good but I'm skeptical.

he plays jett and KJ and he wasn't even the best on his team at that role, lol. his teammate alexiiik should've been picked up over him 1000% and alexiiik plays Raze too after Jett nerf

BenjyFishy:
KJ: 1.06 rating 218.3 ACS - 467 rounds
Jett: 1.01 rating 207.9 ACS - 179 rounds

alexiiik:
KJ: 1.18 rating 249.4 ACS - 179 rounds
Jett: 1.17 rating 246.8 ACS - 321 rounds
Raze: 1.30 rating 269.8 ACS - 113 rounds

FURIA has a ton of money and if he joins alongside sadhaak would be an interesting roster to see, I think they could be strong

posted about a year ago

I hope screwface joins NRG, he's a fantastic player and they need a strong IGL. unironically if the EG squad improved so much by scrimming against him as IGL, he's probably great

posted about a year ago

yay is nowhere on any sheet and he's repeatedly saying people have dodged around it, seems like a rally to not "leak" what team he's joining
NRG is the only NA option I think he'd want to join, and has the money. weird that the duelist spot hasn't been filled on it (or has by aspas) for so long....

Confirmed (or pretty much confirmed) Rosters:
SEN: zekken, tenz, sacy, pancada, johnqt
G2: leaf, jonahp, net, valyn, trent

Strong possibility:
100T: cryo, asuna, eeiu, bang, boostio

My bet:
NRG: yay, victor, crashies, marved, screwface

NOT NA BUT BANGER?:
Furia: aspas, khalil, mwzera, sadhaak, kon4n

I'm talking about all esports investments, not just Riot based ones. However, agreed that having streaming rights will help a ton and it'll be rough until then.

posted about a year ago

all esports are investment, however there have been some that have broken through and made money. the ones that have advertised locally, had a strong fan-base and made lots of content to build a following. they also developed rosters and sold off players rather than just buying the best every single season. KC most likely doesn't go positive yet but they are building up to it and building revenue streams which is the largest part that I think other orgs aren't doing or aren't doing as well.

posted about a year ago

not saying to replicate it, but they for sure need to learn and take notes. karmine monetized having a streamer at the helm and advertising their organization internationally and especially locally extremely well, similar to traditional sports clubs. on top of this, they have great rosters with lots of up and comers and did not spend insane amounts of money on any roster. they also, like just announced, used crowdfunding to build an arena which they can also monetize. it's clear there are steps these organizations can take to replicate the success karmine corp has, they just haven't.

posted about a year ago

I enjoy all of them, so what I'm seeing is that people enjoy it when they just post 100% done deal moves and report on it rather than joke around about leaks and trials baiting people

posted about a year ago

you need money to build an arena, hence why I said they need to monetize themself and expand off it (build an arena and make even more money off it). kcorp is not broke and will continue to not be broke if the arena does well because they are properly expanding their business and having strong revenue streams.

posted about a year ago

amazing for esports
hope more organizations take notes on how to properly monetize yourself and gain fan trust and loyalty and expand off it
