As a full time valorant fan i can confirm this is true.
they had a roster of dicey, babybay, shot_up, larrybanks and flyuh and they were winning lots of matches and losing in a couple finals, but overall doing well especially for a roster where flyuh and larrybanks were still considered up and comers. they axed larrybanks without giving him time to develop further (like OP said, 15-16 at the time) and added POACH as IGL and they played incredibly well with him to be fair (beating EG and Gen.G) before they just decided to cut shot_up and flyuh to add supamen and poised even though that previous roster was looking to be incredibly strong. with supamen and poised they ended up just doing OK and replacing POACH with rossy and making babybay IGL and eventually poised which was another troll move. they tried to remedy this troll move by removing rossy and dicey and adding mummay and tigg which didn't turn out great either.
yes and he was cracked but they trolled that entire roster
I still remember watching matches in berlin where he literally could barely drink water because his hands were shaking so much
agree that he was under insane pressure and now that the community has other players to latch on to he is still under pressure but not NEARLY as much and I think he's coming back into form
W list and I think very objective considering achievements and how well they played
why sen tent not on jett? zekken 13 year old no duelist experence. are sentinel coaches want lose?
yeah swiftplays are fun and if you get your ELO high you just play against immortals all the time and can meet cool players
I'd recommend, I'm a swiftplay onetrick
it's easy to meet them in swiftplays in my experience, most times I just shoot a quick thing if they're on my team saying gl in your future matches
I met brawk literally right after he got signed for mxs and he won vs sentinels therefore I am the reason they won np brawk πͺ

I met runi, brawk, riku and bjor in swiftplays they were all chill
aspas - duelist
boostio - sentinel
leo - initiator
ethan - flex
demon1 - controller
coach: potter
leaf's losing matches in important tournaments:
2023 Americas LCQ
everyone played bad, highest ACS
Sao Paulo
Highest ACS and playing senti/viper
Home Ground
Choke but that team was a disaster + he's on viper 2/3 maps
2022 Americas LCQ
Choke
Champions 2021
Only person not choking
take from this what you will
skrossi high peak:

2 random games in a tournament exactly 2 years ago, same tournament but playing a good team:

good but runi left c9 bc of pay cuts i doubt he'd be cheap
as we have seen, unless you are fragging as IGL you will not win anything. it is the current meta and the IGL needs to be able to pick up themselves individually. on top of this, russ couldn't make a team with yacine, trexx, sayf and leo work as IGL which is insane considering most are considered some of the best players in EMEA currently, which is the most worrying part.
lightningfast "not getting the right opportunities" last year to me makes no sense unless you have more context to give, he played not only duelist but also sentinel (his most likely role on this GE roster) and had those stats playing both. these tournaments also were with a full Indian roster meaning he should have been even more comfortable than he would be with an international roster.
if i speak...
benkai: not IGLing and I think he will do great even after a long break
polvi: great too, looked like a really selfless entry duelist in t2 EMEA
the issue I have is with the rest of the team.
russ: last year went 0.93 in the challengers league and 0.73 at copenhagen, his calling looked just OK on guild and as we can see now from the players on the team they were not used to their maximum potential.
blazeking: great in t2 and if they didn't have monyet before him he would be a great pickup, but he's no monyet who was by far the 2nd best controller only behind mako in SEA and that's even when his team was losing most matches.
lightningfast: on raze had a 0.83 rating in the maps he played in VCT and then 0.94, 1.05 and 0.94 in the 3 previous tournaments against non franchised teams. sure, improvements can be made but it doesn't look promising.
Who is Okobotro πΏ? For the blind π¦―, he is light π―οΈ. For the hungry ππΊ, he is bread π. For the sick π€’, he is the cure π. For the sad π’, he is joy π. For the poor βπ΅β, he is the treasure πͺ; for the debtor π³, he is forgiveness π
whoever made those allegations is a fraud brawk has been him for a while
literally everyone ragging on Sentinels but can we just say MxS looks insanely good and played extremely well? It doesn't always have to be about who did bad but rather who did good. Brawk played amazing!
I wouldn't count mimi as a "vlr user" to be honest, only people who post at least slightly regularly I'd count
happy you'll be there to celebrate your mom's bday, unfortunately I cannot make it but I can't wait to celebrate your bday as well with your mom since she said "you have to be there, he's your son"
mwzera 0 breach games, zekken 4
that was one of the 4
rather have someone willing to flex to an agent and try than not try at all
mwzera:
65 maps on initiator with a 1.07 avg rating
192 maps on duelist with a 1.16 avg rating
zekken:
189 maps on initiator with a 1.24 avg rating
219 maps on duelist with a 1.15 avg rating
mwzera's initiator is worse than zekken besides skye, both of theirs aren't very good
ask her if you can do something on her phone and see what she says, ultimate test
that guy is jacked, rich, and talks to all the hottest guys.
hopefully you find 3!
might want to clarify if you need an IGL too!
it's from HLTV so most people here wouldn't have seen it, and a very random article.
d0phh didn't even want to play Val, most likely it wasn't just a kick but him wanting to leave.
There were definitely moments, even in the first year of Valorant, where I was like, why the hell am I playing Valorant? I should be playing CS
Rory "β dephhβ " Jackson
Just from that quote I wouldn't want him on a Val team if he doesn't even want to play.
Dep has a fantastic raze (better than his Jett imho) but his raze was taken by TENNN who left now. with the Jett nerfs I think Dep will be even better than before since he'll be allowed to play Raze more
they're talking about the invulnerability
it's only good for 1 shot and the op takes forever to shoot 1 shot, if you get an initial pick you can just take a ton of space vs an op since their first bullet doesnt do anything

bro put his phone # in a LFT post what a dude
boutta call up my homeboy DADA π―
mxs could easily squeak out a win vs half of the franchised teams
G2 Gozen also lost 13-4 to "Odd 1 OUT" so yeah.
there are definitely GC teams better than them that could've put up a good fight
context? also hi Ferahgo!
edit: i literally just looked at the bottom of the scoreboard........
they looked like they had a lot of nerves (from the face cams as well as whiffing easy shots I know they hit in GC). those will only get better with more experience and opportunities. glad to see them get them!
they beat the π what can we say they deserve T1
never forget I got downvoted saying that benjy is not t1 when excluding g2 gozen he had a 0.58 rating with 109 acs and went 19-35-4 against fokus and fut
