The main issue I saw with this team even before Shanghai is that they don't have a fallback guy. If the team is underperforming, there is no consistent person on the team that can keep them in the game and composed. When they're shooting across all cylinders, they are an amazing team, top 3 even. But when even 1-2 people underperform, they drag the rest of the team down.

Their early success I believe was from the change that Boostio/Zikz brought but Boostio can only keep the mental stable, he's not a round-winning criteria.

If you look at other top teams, SEN, Gen G, TH, EG and others, they all have players like jawg, woot, texture, zekken/tenz that can have consistent performances and influence rounds. Even on bad starts, they can keep their team somewhat in the game so that their teammates can bounce back/warm up.

I love Cryo but he is wildly inconsistent and so is everyone else on the roster. You can have Boostio hyping the team up as much as you want but again, it doesn't translate to performance. They really need a rock on the team.

At this point in the season, it'd be dumb to make a roster change. It's too close to champs. I would hope for a bounce back and to get back in Shanghai form. Then place 5-6th in Champs. That's a good season if I'm Zikz or a player on 100T. Then in the offseason, I'd make roster changes.

TL;DR: 100T doesn't have a reliable "rock" of a player they can rally/build around.

It's honestly debatable. Champs and especially next year will signify if the days of the "Brain and no Aim" IGLs will be over. With new talent like JohnQT, Boo, Valyn, Munchkin and others coming in, it's arguably becoming more and more difficult for the old IGL style to continue. But it also is a very duelist heavy meta at the moment so that might just be skewing how drastic things really are.

If we're talking about Valorant I think "El Diablo" is so sick.

I mean the team right now just makes zero sense to me personally. Individually they're great players but the roles just don't line up. I think ideally they'd drop Tuyz and then have these be the roles:

A lot of people were giving me shit for having C9 so low on my rankings yesterday and I've seen them being ranked top 5 (which is nuts). A lot of these teams have inflated records from playing Furia, MIBR, early EG, and an out-of-form LOUD. We'll be seeing a lot of frauds in Split 2.

Real, Blizzard had the best track record before being absolutely run down to the ground and having their track record stomped by Activision.

As questionable as Riot can be, their games are always super polished and they play well. Also it helps that the game released in 2020 when everyone was at home bored and looking for something new to play. Same thing can be said for Warzone and a bunch of other games.
