Let's go, Crazy Raccoon has been blessed by the bracket gods.

Hopefully they emulate or even surpass their Berlin run.

posted about 2 years ago

probably tomorrow, the berlin news came 2 weeks before the event, the iceland also 2 weeks after before that.

posted about 2 years ago

That was an absolute schlacking.

Ping issues or not, TE didn’t even come close to PRX.

posted about 2 years ago

not a 13-0, nice

posted about 2 years ago

damn the paper rex hate never stops huh

it's the TOs fault, not PRX's. The TOs chose the server, PRX didn't.

God damn that Jinggg ace was nasty. Yes it’s a ping differential but at face value, that ace was crazy.

rhyme pretty good, ec1s is alright, and if mertz and NBK are as good as people say, then heretics lowkey have a decent team. but then what does lowel play?

benaf is nasty on jett, hopefully he plays her in the next 2 maps.

posted about 2 years ago

that is a very very fair assessment of all teams

are you going to the rest of the 7 teams? i'm intrigued to hear your thoughts on full sense, crazy raccoon, and FURIA.

what would your ideal meta be if there was duplicate agents? personally I think 2 skyes would be busted as fuck, and two sovas would be information galore. What pro teams would be busted if there was duplicate agents?

posted about 2 years ago

BeYN, Persia, and Felix are crazy good, they need teams that they can get regular playtime on. Maybe JP teams poaching them? Or DK rebuild?

posted about 2 years ago

SeliG is very unimpressive. His firepower feels lacking compared to the rest and I don't understand why TNL picked up a Jett player to play Sova flex.

posted about 2 years ago

T1: mostly because of the players they have/had (Brax, Spyder, Auti, Curry, Ska)
ZETA, CR, NTH: because there is untapped potential in Japan and they have really fun players to watch

Old AE could have made this close

This AE won't even come close to GE.

They do have the potential to challenge Gambit, but I don't see them playing in internationals yet. They have solid firepower, but their strats are lacking: it's basically "rush site and cloud/7ssk7 go kill, but if they die, become turtles." dinkzj is a solid piece, but both arch and duno are fairly weak.

New TNL is not as strong as old TNL, but still good.

Hate deserves a better team for sure, maybe NU Hate? that would be cool to see.

Legday has always been an entertaining caster, and I enjoyed his casting in the Overwatch Contenders days. Glad to see he’s casting in Valorant.

posted about 2 years ago

This was published 2 days ago, and already within that time, many people have said that he is not moving back to CS.

posted about 2 years ago

He's chill with the NRG guys, and the only reason that he's jokingly shittalking their win is because his friends are on akrew.

posted about 2 years ago

I would replace Vikings with Australs. Vikings are possibly the weakest team, and if not, then at least a bottom 4 team at champs. Australs can put up a better fight than any of the Brazilian teams and could've had a good showing at champs.

posted about 2 years ago

Well NRG won in the end, although it was insanely scrappy.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean that is tragic. From 12-1 to 12-14.

But it is a game of 3 maps, so let's see how the rest go.

god the valorant doomsday frogs are annoying. nitr0 himself isn't sure if he wants to go back to CS, and this'll only happen if 100T implodes for whatever reason. and this game is a year and a half old, there's still more potential to grow. it's like the CS major scared everyone shitless; buddy CS didn't have a proper major for almost 2 and a half years, of course it would rack in a lot of views. champions, valorant's first major, is around the corner but doomsday frogs think that it won't be able to hold a candle against CS. it might not rack up the same viewership potential, but it will rack up around 1.5-1.8 million, which is more than enough to solidify valorant esports as the next big thing.

I would say this team is cursed but it's only their first game since a while and with a new member and new roles. And it's a game of 3 maps so let's see how the rest go.
