This is unbelievably embarrassing.

I always thought DFM had a respectable reputation but after this year’s horrendous fiasco with the LoL team, it has left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth — Japanese and esports fans alike.

Including the fact that DFM only won TWO MAPS last season and their last win was in May 2022 people really don’t believe in them. Hell, their current players don’t either.

DFM need to get their shit together ASAP or it’s going to be another 0-10 season.

Insane Split from ZETA.

Actual perfect, synchronized gameplay.

+++13-0.

I have seen enough.

Both these teams look better than DFM did the entire season.

2018-2020 Carpe does

2021-present Carpe does not.

And I’ve been a Carpe fan since 2017.

What genre do you prefer

I’m assuming this roster is allowed because 4/5 players played AT LEAST one split — the exception being Bgg.

PTC for sure.

The guy was a demon in 2021 — flexing onto multiple agents and carrying, back in a time when flexing on different roles wasn’t too common.

how is T1 being new a bad thing

In fact, that's a good thing because they look very improved.

Sheesh

posted 6 months ago

Apart from T1 and ZETA,

C9 — might be the only wippie believer
KOI — really like their core, branding is great
G2 — i mean it’s the guard, who doesn’t love their story

Also this is the second Czech player joining KC, funnily enough.

If the havoc move doesn’t go through, LOUD are probably planning to move tuyz back to duelist and are getting a controller as their 5th.

When partnership leagues were announced, at first, i was like “mayhe EG will get a spot because they have a big lineage in Esports from Starcraft to Dota to LOL to CSGO, so they’d be a shoe-in.”

I didn’t understand why EG were so hated, even with their lackluster Valorant squad. I legitimately thought EG should be a respected org. Then the Danny report came out and that put my faith a little down.

But their story in Valorant in 2023 has been nothing but incredible — literally a rags to riches story. But after Champs, EG have been fucking around a lot by asking their players to take 50% pay cuts or risk looking for other opportunities. Granted, the players asked for the pay cuts, but is the org that broke to keep them?

And now this?? This is incredibly sad to see such talented players be put in contract jail while the org is just cashing in their winnings. It’s highly disrespectful for a world championship team and disrespectful for being such a storied org and doing this.

TL;DR: stop with the bullshit EG.

If you have any questions about Bangladesh or Canada, feel free to ask me. It can be as ridiculous as you want, as long as you're not being over the top.

Inspired by QIQ and many others, who made a similar thread on Japan and their respective countries.

  1. I’ve been learning a bit of Japanese the past year. I know many words and sentences (numbers, times, asking for something, directions, etc.) But Kanji has been a pain in the ass because each kanji can have a different meaning or the word itself can have different kanji. So as a native Japanese, do you still struggle with kanji or is it a basic thing to get down in childhood?

  2. Ideally, would you like to see Koreans or other imports on the ZETA roster? I personally wouldn’t.
