A lot of tier 2 / tier 3 teams and players have twitter accounts. If you can find a team that doesn't have 5 players, you can ask for a tryout.

Also, because of how Twitter works, if you post your clips and reply to other popular tweets there's a chance teams or players will see it and possibly ask you.

TLDR; make a twitter account. try dm-ing players / teams who are looking for 1. post clips and reply to other players' tweets.

For discord, you'll have to find a scrim / pug discord. I don't live in EU, so idk any specific ones. Here's one for NA - https://discord.gg/ZhcyZa8JWB . From these, you can find teams to play with before events.

You could try making another post on vlr.gg to find an EU scrim discord.

H1ber is very good. Definite T1 talent. Sacake, Shrew also look great.

They have the potential to qualify into the main VCT league.

I would place only Guild and G2 above them, of the teams left in this qualifier. If they beat Vitality, I think they have a strong chance of making it very deep, if not all the way.

But, I don't think they will do very well in the VCT league. Acend, Gambit, Liquid, Fnatic (assuming their fifth is an upgrade), G2, and Guild all look a tier above KOI atm. Not to say they can't improve; the roster is very new.

Challengers Playoffs were supposed to be LAN in 2022. However, with covid going ham rn, I don't think that will happen outside of Korea, Brazil, and possibly LATAM.

to be clear, I'm not saying there shouldn't be a replay system. I just wanted to point out the reason that there isn't one yet, and why it takes so long.

I think the reason for not having a replay system, is due to the "fog of war" in the anti-cheat.

because it doesn't render all the players at all times to prevent wallhacks, it may be impossible for the client to generate the replay file.

this means RIOT servers have to generate the replay and send it to the clients, for every single game played. this is obviously not easy, since RIOT uses their own servers instead of AWS / GCP.

EDIT: Since my intentions have been misinterpreted, I want to clarify that this is not to say that there shouldn't be a replay system, but to highlight potential reasons why it may be taking longer than expected. These problems may require infrastructural changes, which in the current state of the world, could be slower than usual.

It could be legislation issues. The EU has weird laws regarding broadcasting in general, and I remember these being quoted in the opens last year.

Open qual must have seeding games to create the groups

The seeding for playoffs will be based on the performance in the round-robin stage.

Technically, the playoffs will be seeding matches, too. But, for Masters' groups.

Adding a trophy and making it LAN helps by giving teams the incentive for 'glory'. However, a league like the VCT lacks the prestige that any LoL league has built up from 10 years of competition. It could end up doing nothing.

MONSTEERR has potential. I don't the trainwreck that was the post-G2 Heretics roster is indicative of his ability.

I can obviously see it going both ways, though. He would have to improve significantly from the Heretics showing for my claim to be true, but I have faith that he will.

while it's true that it's not always necessary to get 200+ acs to be a good player, being the IGL is no excuse for frequent double digit performances. I have faith in his calling, but Bonkar needs to step up his game in finding individual impact in rounds.

Fit1nho (Giants, EU). Roster has a lot of potential, on top of being an incredible player already.

Something (Blue Bees, Japan). Player is ridiculous. Puts up insane numbers always. I'm not very sure about his team, though. Especially because of the language barrier

Jinggg and Foresaken on the same team is honestly insane. It's similar to Heat and Mwzera on Keyd. I'll be very surprised if they don't qualify to Masters 1.

Leo is very good. Sayf is a solid player too.

-Bonkar +Kolda should improve the team's firepower, but I have to wonder how their strategy will be affected. I wasn't a big fan of G2's decision making on some maps, however, they did very well on others.

I'm not too familiar with either of the other two players, but they look like they have a lot of potential.

I'm looking forward to how this team will perform. I don't think they can touch any of the Champs teams, though. Unless Boaster's brain dies again and chooses to run triple smokes.
