I feel like I've seen a lot of people say, or imply, that anti-stratting isn't a viable strategy or that it's not skillful. However, it's not easy to effectively anti-strat a team. And, it's simply a way to increase a team's chance of winning a match. I don't really understand why people often disparage it when I think, so long as it doesn't disturb other practice, every team should be doing it.

It's the fault of the opposing team to be so inflexible as to lose to anti-strategy.

Zeta lost to the momentum imo they kept trying to play at Nth's pace instead of their usual slow site takes. Especially after winning the Haven game in that fashion, I think they felt it was the way to go.

imo if they had played as they did in the previous upper final match in the same tournament, they would've won.

100% the best thing about them is their fundamentals and discipline

honestly, i think if they ran more static comps they would look similar to the original gambit.

honestly, after Copenhagen, I'm convinced there's something wrong with the rocket. there's so many moments where it seems that it hit and ends up doing 0 damage.

they were given the opportunity to play in the first APAC LCQ, but they supposedly refused due to ping related reasons.

no way are you the real edward? edward from the hit gaming club Edward GAMING, (EDG), a professional esports organization based in Shanghai, China?

they feel very lacking compared to a team like PRX. it's usually just prowler -> haunt -> stun, in sequence rather than together. i think the team could become significantly better by developing more elaborate execs so the duels that they inevitably take are better for them.

after seeing this team play again, I think it has a lot of potential. The core of Meiy, Neth, and popogachi all seem to have mechanical talent and good decision-making.

their biggest problem is the super weird roles they play and how they switch every map. I'm not sure if it's because of player preference or some other reason, but I can't see it being very sustainable.

Astell is probably the player that I'd swap out, he hasn't really been getting the impact that many other flex players have shown is possible.

Mitch and Tom are great when shit goes down to the wire, in the more calm situations I feel they're not super interesting to listen to.

yeah, I hope a SEA superteam does eventually happen.

posted about 2 years ago

there's never been a real chance for a SEA mixed team in Valorant because of the subregion player requirements (3 players from a region to enter in competition)

OG from SA or PRX are the closest things to it.
